I won't belabor the bragging about better schools thing but at-least those parents are spending some pretty decent change to send a kid to the private school. That's all.

Do you think rich people don't send their kids to private schools because they think they will get a better education there?

You just said those parents are at least paying a lot for their kids to go there. I agreed and said at least that's better than having the money and not trying to get them the best.

 

Though I still don't think those parents "care more" than those that can't afford it.

 

I think many do it because it is the best education they can give their kids. Some also care about the social standing and how it will affect them later in life.
