Love no major helmet changes.

Love the fact that they are all in on the "Dawg Pound"

Don't like that they made the Dawg far more cartoonish for kiddies.

Oh well ... guess we can get back to the draft.

I'm not sure I like that shade of Orange, I'll have to see how it goes with the Uniform

UNIFORM UNVEIL

The new Cleveland Browns uniforms will be unveiled on Tuesday, April 14, 2015.

Helmet is fine. Glad they didn't really change it. The 'dawg' sh!t shoulda been retired when the team came back in '99. The 'Dawgs' were an 'era' and a certain group of players that are LONG gone.

That's were I disagree with some traditionalists like you and Gipper.

I think sometimes you pick up a nickname or theme through an era and it sticks because it's cool.

I like the Dawgpound stuff. Many sports teams pick up a nickname through the years and it because part of the fiber of the franchise. Dawg stuff is cool with me. But never forget the elf.

I love it because all the uniform fags are going to be all butthurt because nothing really changed.

I'm not sure what part of "we're not changing the helmet" they never understood.

LMAO!

Where IS everybody who actually "posted" all those "leaked" logos as fact? Yep, the folks who buy speculation & gossip as fact. HAHAHAHAHA!!! I almost hurt from laughing.

The biggest positive is that we have an Organization that obviously doesn't leak info to all those "sources".

I think you just pointed out the reason I don't like it. I agree with your statement that a team can pick up a nickname along the way. Lots of examples of that in college ball. I think the thing that bothers me is that it prevents any current group of players from forming their own unique identity. I mean if Joe Haden decided to start squalling like a Raptor, no one is gonna start calling that end zone the Raptor's Den. It's 'branded' the Dawg Pound so that's what it 'must' be. I don't like the 'brand.' I liked that it was a player/fan creation and not some corporate idea.

I think they officially moved away from the Joe Louis position, since it makes absolutely no sense.

PB and JB, I'm all for.

I agree that it makes no sense in that Joe Louis had nothing really to do with Cleveland.......and for the fact that it would connote that the team is actually the Cleveland Black Men. So they won't go there now.

Uhm, I prefer the pumpkin orange color...not the orange orange.

Let me just say this: my daughter's major in college right now is sports marketing and management. She could do a fuck of a lot better right now I think than the guys running the Browns marketing department.

I need to tell her to start getting her resume together because there should be a number of openings soon in the Browns marketing dept. for this lame ass shit.

I was the same major.

It's disheartening to see this shit from your favorite team and now that you could personally do better. This whole ordeal was poorly handled from a marketing standpoint. It got churn, but it's going to generate more negative PR than it will yield any positives.

I can fully see this logo being jettisoned in a couple years.

Except that nobody knows that since the uniform unveil isn't until next week.

Ah, but we can expect "leaks" of at least the same caliber as the logo ones...

Don't like that they made the Dawg far more cartoonish for kiddies.

Which may be exactly the "future fan" demographic they are targeting.

It's not so much the logo that sucks, it's the way they introduced it. They absolutely haven't been able to do anything right in years. I feel terrible about not renewing my season tickets, but I can't continue to keep feeding this ineptitude.

THIS X 1000000000000

If they can't properly introduce an updated brand than how you expect them to put a competent product on the field.

The ineptitude from the top down is staggering

Funny about the shade of orange, whether it's fan made (like my avatar) or bootleg jerseys, or whatever, the colors always vary. I've seen this shade of orange on lots of Browns paraphernalia, and I've seen it a lot lighter too. So it's not really new to me.

The Dawg...uh yeah. He might as well join my 3-year old son's favorite TV show (and use the Nickelodeon shade of orange):
