Almost all the talk around the water cooler was about how it was "normal" stuff that happened growing up. Every person saying that was Southern and white. Its been almost entirely abandoned over the past 25 years or so. Sort of like paddling in school. My uncle used to refer to the 'switch' as the attitude adjuster. It was. At the end of the year I won that paddle since it was used on me the most, I surpassed the next guy in line by one whack. BFD. You don't do a four year old like that, period. peterson should try being a father more than once a month if you want the kids to act right. Only what they have seen from their parets, really When I was paddled, I knew EXACTLY why, a 4 year old does not. I never threw a firecracker out of the school bus again. Lesson learned I think a couple swats will let a 4 year old know his immediate actions are unacceptable.A shout and a quick whack should do the trick, I don't think a prolonged and bloody beating should be in order.
