I got this from a good source:

Ryan Day - QB coach for SF 49ers will be new QB coach (he is a Chip Kelly disciple at SF/Philadelphia and grad assistant for Meyer in 2005 at UF).

He went from HC to OC for more money?

Maybe sometimes it's for a better program or experience, the big money by far is in the SEC but still anywhere is good now in the top programs.

Oh and on Wilson:

Wilsons contract, which runs through 2021 and will pay him $2.55 million per year, nearly doubles the $1.31 million he made in 2015, according to USA TODAYs database of college football coaches salaries. According to IU athletic director Fred Glass, no other Big Ten coach save Michigans Jim Harbaugh has as many years on his current contract.

....we would call that hitting the Lottery every year. ;)

Right... So he made more as a HC at Indiana...

Idk if you're both being intentionally ignorant here or you honestly don't know why Wilson isn't at Indiana anymore.

Yes that was kind of confusing, IU committed to Wilson big time but things changed.....

Former Indiana head coach Kevin Wilson has been added to Ohio State's quality control staff.

Bruce Feldman of FOX Sports reported Tuesday night Ohio State is expected to hire former Indiana coach Kevin Wilson as its next offensive coordinator.

Wilson resigned as head coach of the Hoosiers on Dec. 1, five days after the team defeated in-state foe Purdue to finish the 2016 season 6-6 and become bowl eligible. Wilson signed a six-year, $15 million contract on Jan. 11, the day of the national championship between Clemson and Alabama. It signaled Indiana was in it with him for the long haul after he morphed the Hoosiers from Big Ten doormat to respectable program in five seasons.

But an investigation into player treatment that began in 2015 ultimately ended with pressure from Wilson's higher ups to quit or be fired but above all his time in Indiana coming to a close. An offensive guru, Wilson was 26-47 in six years at Indiana but appeared to have things heading in the right direction before the allegations that he questioned the toughness of his players and forced them to either practice or play injured surfaced.

Wilson would represent yet another fine football mind added to Meyer's staff in Columbus as the college football arm's race rolls along. Meyer hired Ryan Day to be his quarterbacks coach as well, in place of Tim Beck, who left for Texas earlier Tuesday.......CONTINUED. ......

It looks like that question was answered: A. He will be making more money at OSU and B. He may have been forced out at Indiana.

And, I mean, lets face it....if it were not for the Ohio natives associated with the Michigan program over the years, they would be Indiana.

A) How much will he be making at OSU?

B) May have been? Have you read into it at all?

Yes, I know. Ohio born coaches and players. For the thousandth time I don't care. I'm from Ohio ...
