Somewhere between Lebron and Iverson probably (with Lebron being on the higher end).

It's pretty obvious Curry's a great player - but idk wtf he came from. Wasn't his first all star season just 2 years ago? This crazy shooting ability among other things can't last forever, right....right?....right!?!?!?!?

Regardless 2016 is the year of the Cavs.

Great player- true. But he's only lately come into his own. Curry can't carry a team by himself as LeBron can. Even if LeBron shut it down after this year- it would probably take Curry another 10 years to catch LeBron in points.

Yeah- they won the Championship last year. Have to wonder if that would have been the case if Love and Irving were healthy. It was pretty even until Kyrie got hurt.

His dad played in the NBA for 16 season, so he had some pretty good coaching as a kid. He played his college ball at Davidson. I was lucky enough to watch him when Davidson came to town as they play in the same conference as the Mocs. Oh, and yes, he can keep shooting like that. I think when it is all said and done, he is going to be very high on the list of the all time greats and will probably be considered the best pure shooter of all time. He might already be close to being considered that.

My basketball knowledge is very poor but he never seems to miss

He does seem to be one of the best shooters of all time. He is Dan Marino quick in getting off his shot.....if that helps.

And where he played college: Davidson......is a very small college in North Carolina. I think it was Division III not too long ago, but stepped up to D-1 recently.

I think I said in another thread- he's in the conversation as the "best pure shooter of all time". I had to look it up- the Cavalier's Mark Price still has him by a thousandth of a percent in free throws, but Curriy is almost shooting 50% for threes- that's crazy good.

Curry is currently the best player in the NBA the problem is he didn't have an "all-time great" start to his career which is in it's 7th year btw. Nowhere near Iverson yet.

The difference is- Curry- as great a shooter as he is, (unlike LeBron) can't carry a team by himself. The Warriors in his first three years- pretty much sucked. Curry's impressive numbers didn't mean squat until they built a team around him. Sort of like Rose in Chicago. Regarding Iverson- Curry's 3 pt% is probably unmatched. The deal is @ 6'3" 190 is he going to be able to avoid serious injury? The takeout foul on LeBron tonight against the Magic would probably have put Curry on the sidelines.

Let's put this in perspective on how great James is- if LeBron retired today- at his present production- it would take Curry another eight years to catch LeBron in points.

The people with the best career FG % are centers like Chandler Tyson, Shaq, Mark West, Artis Gilmore, Dwight Howard

3 point FG%? The best is Steve Kerr. Second is Hubert Davis. Third is Steph Curry.

At 29th is Mark Price....30 is Dell Curry.

Best Free throw pct: 1. Steve Nash 2. Mark Price 3. Steph Curry

You know who has missed the most shots in NBA history? Kobe Bryant.

:) it's hard to miss a dunk. Artis Gilmor #1, Shaq #3, Dwight Howard #5.

Didn't know that about Kobe- it makes me happy, though. May as well retire after this year, The Black Mamba is roadkill. The Lakers suck, with no help in sight, they're gonna be the Lambs that get slaughtered as the Warriors roll to a record 16-0 tonight. & Kobe is never gonna catch The Mailman in points.

Speaking of- on the LeBron point watch parade- he's going to pass Reggie Miller and Rick Barry Wednesday- assuming he scores more than 5.

No one "carries a team" in the NBA. NBA Championships are won by good teams not great players. While I've said Lebron would crack my top 5 all-time let's not forget that he only has 2 Championships and choked in the 2010-11 Finals.

LeBron did a pretty good job of it in his first go-around with the Cavs. Remember that epic scoring the last 30+ against the Pistons?

This current rendition of the Cavs minus LBJ is just another good team. With him- it's Finals or bust.

I love our team when we had Price, Daurghety Nance, Ferry, Ehlo, Williams, would have won Championships if it was not for the Bulls, Jordan.

The mistake was getting rid of Harper, and drafting Ferry- who never lived up to his draft status. All that team needed was time to gel.

I hated that trade from the get go...Harper teamed up with MJ and got a ring.. I thought Ehlo was the one that shouldve got traded.. He couldnt play D to save his soul.

Lebron is awesome no doubt about that. I think he has done more with less than any other superstar.
