WalterWhite
19 year old Kendall Jones who has come under fire from Animal rights groups for hunting animals in Africa has gotten Virginia congressmen Mike Dickinson's twitter account going apeshit "I hope you get mauled by rhino's and get Ebola" is my personal favorite. Glad to see LIBERAL TOLERANCE the practice these days. Obviously from the looks of this fat slob he hasn't been following Michelle Obama's lunch program. http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2014/07/10/left-wing-liberal-politician-in-virginia-posts-shocking-offer-involving-nude-photos-of-texas-cheerleader-who-loves-to-hunt/

calfoxwc
As one who hunts a little more now that the wildlife has come back and thriving in our beautiful woods.... shooting those animals for trophies - doesn't seem like hunting. Now, bothersome varmints like groundhogs and coyotes...and in the south, wild boars, sure. But why shoot a beautiful tiger? for what? That bothers me. I don't get it. Squirrel, deer, game birds are great food. And I haven't ever deer hunted. They seem to be too beautiful in the wild. But, when you can see a dozen at a time, it's time this next fall, to hunt a couple.
Taco918
Hunting animals like this for fun disgusts me. She was standing her ground like a fucking patriot. All jokes aside, I agree. Unless she ended up eating her kill, it was a complete waste. As for the politician, he's a douche just like every other politician on both sides of the isle. How people still get upset about what politicians say baffles me.
TXDawg
"as for the politician, he's a douche just like every other politician on both sides of the isle. How people still get upset about what politicians say baffles me. " this isn't normal. attacks a 19 year old girl instead of attacking the laws that let her do it. says he wants her as target. tries to publicly humiliate her with porn revenge talks to her HS boyfriend trying to get nude pics (so he was trying to obtain child pornography as she was under 18 in HS) hunters do far more for animals than the rest of society, especially city folks. Seriously, who is this pissed over the new wal-mart parking lot or highway? there are so many facts that support responsible hunting improves wildlife that getting pissed over this is just flat out ignorant. Personally I wouldn't want to hunt these animals but I know enough that the lawful hunting industry helps animals tremendously. we test products on animals, we use animals to make cosmetics. stuff that does not help animals at all. and this girl is evil? how many whitetail deer are living in the city? she explains it all but people just want to let their emotions rule the day. example http://www.rhino-economics.com/overview/ Her comments on the rhino: "This rhino was darted and immobilized to draw blood, DNA, microchipped, antibiotic shots and treated for a leg injury. It's not dead and it's not asleep, it's immobilized with medication. It walked away once the procedure was done"
gftChris
This guy is clearly a douche, and very clearly not a serious 'candidate' for anything. If any party recognised him as a member they won't any more.
gftChris
Turns out, in fact, that this guy *isn't* actually a candidate for anything: Dickinson is not a Democratic candidate for Congress. The media slowly figured this out after February, when Dickinson started tweeting insults at Fox News and was booked on the network as "Mike Dickinson (D-VA)." He had to be set up like a punching bag one more time before Mediaite noticed that was not actually going to be a Democratic candidate in the fall. Dickinson failed to make time between TV appearances to file any candidate forms. His candidacy lives online, where he takes advantage of umbrage culture by soliciting donations—grifting, basically. But he won't appear on a ballot. This raises an interesting question: Does a political party have to answer for a candidate if he is not actually its nominee? The question elicits an easy answer: of course not. http://www.slate.com/blogs/weigel/2014/07/10/the_democrat_s_todd_akin_is_a_fake_candidate_who_tweets_a_lot.html

Westside Steve
TX even though hunting kinda creeps me out on a personal level, I'm still a carnivore I understand the value of controlling the herd in many situations. But I think big game hunting is fucked up and so are the people that get there rocks off by doing it. 19 is old enough to act like a human being WS
MLD Woody
There are instances where hunting like this occurs as a form of population control, correct? Also I believe I saw that places like that rely on the obscene amount of money it costs to hunt there as the funds to support the rest of the environment. But I agree with the thoughts above, I'd have a hard time thinking big game hunting is OK. Hunting in general is just pointing and shooting, nothing else. I can't really even see much in that. So is this guy just some extremist dem candidate that no one is taking seriously? Or is he a plant by the other side to make this side look even worse? I'd guess the first one. calfoxwc
On a technical note, pointing and shooting doesn't work well with game birds. Like training in skeet shooting, your in-line follow-through and shooting at the right time gets it done. Woody has a good point about population control, if that is a part of it. Beats too many of one wild species starving. I'd be happier in N. Canada and Alaska, if I lived there, if packs of wolves were mostly taken out.... calfoxwc
Tired and delirious. Sorry if I slipped up there on that..... Sold out at the farmer's market last night, way early, we're having a garage sale this weekend, thurs/.fri/sat to pad our vacation trip, working the garden, running errands, need to spray the organic liquid calcium on the giant tomato crop, then the organic fertilizer later, pull weeds. Need to cut 4 huge trees down, and cut em up and split em for firewood this winter... brush hog a neighbor's horse pasture sometime this week. I'll have to post a picture of part of the garden pretty soon. It's amazing. 780+ tomato plants, and not many ripe. We either sell em, or I have blt's all day long. I have to go pull some weeds. But I think big game hunting is fucked up and so are the people that get there rocks off by doing it. 19 is old enough to act like a human being WS I agree, but I might have done this when I was 19. Probably not, but maybe. Still, they pay for it. A big part of the hunting culture has become participating in the conservation process. I personally spend far more time improving habitat than hunting. From what I can tell, she's lacking that credibility which makes this kind of disturbing. It's not like she's in Africa spreading seed. I recognize that. But her money does pay for it and we should be appreciative for that as the numbers clearly show an increase in population because of the hunting industry. I don't like shooting deer but I shoot one a year for the venison. At some point I think she will change, most do. My grandfather doesn't even hunt with a gun anymore, he takes his camera. When I was a child my grandfather told me he would give me $5 for ever armadillo I shot because they were tearing up the land. After the 32 one I stopped and started to feel sick once I realized what I had just done. Hunting was never the same again. Grandfathers know how to teach certain lessons. Westside Steve
Like I say I certainly understand about deer hunting etc etc etc. Personally I did crazy shit when I was 19 24 35 42.... Frankly I don't particularly care if her money went to support people. I've heard you can purchase yourself a 12 year old for the night in Thailand, and I assume that money pays someone's bills. 1 bottom line i dont like big game hunting. 2 19 is old enough to know better. 3 if that lunatic politician finds any naked pictures I hope you post them here. TXDawg
IMO the picture smiling next to a creature that is dead is what is ridiculous. Picture? Ok. It's an intimate moment with nature. A story to tell others. But the smiling, makeup model look at me moment. Gross.
