Jump to Current Gun-Control Law - The German system of gun control

is among the most stringent in Europe. It restricts the acquisition,

possession, and carrying of firearms to those with a creditable need

for a weapon. It bans fully automatic weapons and severely

restricts the acquisition of other types of weapons.

This just in... but CNN has been known to jump the gun...

(CNN)At least nine people were killed and 21 others hurt Friday in a shooting rampage at a busy shopping district in Munich, Germany, police said.

Police searched for attackers, found a man who had killed himself and concluded he was the only gunman, the police chief said.
The unidentified gunman was an 18-year-old German-Iranian who had lived in Munich for more than two years, Chief Hubertus Andrae told reporters.
No group has claimed responsibility and police have not provided a motive. Authorities said children were among the casualties.

It's going to be hard to untangle the motive that's for sure

Munich police chief Hubertus Andrae told the news conference said “The motive or explanation for this crime is completely unclear,”.

No, it isn’t. And as long as you keep telling yourselves that, you’re just inviting more attacks like this one.

18 year old Iranian Muslim shouting Allah Akbar while shooting children...nuff said

There's a difference between conjecture and investigation. I'm sure any Islamic influence(s) upon the attacker will be probed, but you can't approach an investigation with your mind made up.

The west should never have allowed jihadist movements like isis any press time. Not from the media and no leaders speaking about it. Now their bullshit is out there and any disgruntled fgt can kill some people and as ling as he shouts allahu akbar they get credit for something they had nothing to do with.

This is what obama was referencing when he said we shouldnt prop these guys constantly and tried to ridicule them as the jv squad. But you brainiacs werent havin it, he was obviously a sekret muslim plant. Proving once again that people who make it to that position in the world arent perfect but are by and large smarter and more knowledgeable about how the world works than the avg stool pigeon armchairing life from their porn dungeon.

lol yes, not referring to them as a "JV squad" is why they've gained so much influence. Please.

When it comes to our liberal media here they jump to conclusions very quickly on some of these shootings trying to pin them on right wing groups and TEA party types before much is known...and they always do that when they think it will promote their liberal agenda and they always downplay stories that go counter to their liberal views.

Here are 6 Moments Where the Media has Wrongly Blamed Conservatives (and the Tea Party) for Violence

Free press?

I just wonder where the cyber-front of this "war" is... Only thing I can rationalize is that it could compromise intel gathering... but there's precious little evidence of that.

Well... when the target is an abortion clinic...

Meanwhile back at the thread... just saw a Fox News crawl (Tour watches FNC?) stating that German authorities now believe that this was an attack planned by a disturbed "man" was "obsessed" with mass shootings.

They have also found no evidence of links to ISIS or the refugee issue. They therefore are concluding that this 18-yo, German-Iranian, raised in Munich did not commit a "terrorist act".

Also have found that the perp hacked a Facebook account with an offer of a "free givaway" at the mall to lure as many targets as possible.

I'm sure all is still tentative, but this does represent a turn from early speculation.

But was he influenced by radical Islam ideology...killing young people chanting Allah Akbar? I think so. If he was obsessed with mass shootings as reported then there is a good chance he was reading up on radical Islam terrorism because much of the mass killings have been attributed to radical Islamic terrorism.

Don't know... Was he a practicing Muslim?

There have also been reports that the gunman shouted “I am a German” and “fuck foreigners”.
