The Browns can have 90 in camp. We currently have 73 under contract, and 10 draft picks.

QB - Hoyer / Tanney

RB - Tate / Ogbonnaya / Lewis / Baker / Whitaker / Cook

FB - Pressley

WR - Gordon / Hawkins / Burleson / Benjamin / Little / Cooper / Johnson / Gurley / Vernon

TE - Cameron / Dray / Barnidge / Gray / Milton / Smith

OT - Thomas / Schwartz / Wallace / Faulk / Fragel

OG - Greco / Pinkston / McQuiston / Gilkey

C - Mack / Warren

DT - Taylor / Hughes / Kitchen

DE - Rubin / D.Bryant / Winn / A.Bryant / Sanford / Henderson / Staples

OLB - Kruger / Sheard / Mingo / Groves / Martin

ILB - Dansby / Robertson / Carder / Eubanks / Magee

CB - Haden / Skrine / Trufant / McFadden / Poyer / Adams / Posey / Heath / Hughes

S - Whitner / Gipson / Bademosi / Slaughter / Aubrey

ST - Yount LS / Cundiff K / Lanning P / Bogotay K

Where are the weak spots?

Can this team be competetive as it stands, or do we need one or more impact players to make some noise in 2014?

Usually teams add more than 7 UDFAs, so who gets cut in favor of a young guy?

Where are the weak spots?

1. QB - Hoyer / Tanney

Another vet will come in before the draft, probably not one who will be expected to start. We are obviously drafting a guy that we think could be a long term answer.

2. ILB - Dansby / Robertson / Carder / Eubanks / Magee

Dansby in his 30's, nobody else here is going to excite Mike Pettine, a new major player will be added here re draft/fa

3 (tie). CB - Haden / Skrine / Trufant / McFadden / Poyer / Adams / Posey / Heath / Hughes

WR - Gordon / Hawkins / Burleson / Benjamin / Little / Cooper / Johnson / Gurley / Vernon

CB & WR are similar in that we've got a terrific #1, and we have added depth ... but we still need that #2 ... and that's pretty important.

4. OG - Greco / Pinkston / McQuiston / Gilkey

We sure pay Thomas and mack a lot, but they have spare parts around them. Greco is versatile, Pinkston hasn't stayed healthy, we need another good young guard in the mix.

5. S - Whitner / Gipson / Bademosi / Slaughter / Aubrey

Gipson had a decent season at FS, Whitner is very good, but an aging stopgap. we need another player.

I agree with all of this. I would also include RB. The Browns have Tate and no depth.

Just used fanspeak for a draft, and here's who I added. I went with two rookie QBs instead of an aging vet - Garcia/Delhomme/Campbell/Wallace, no thank you.

QB - Hoyer / Carr1b/ Vaughan7 / Tanney - Carr falls to 26, decent time to take him. Vaughan in the 7th has a cannon for an arm.

RB - Tate / Ogbonnaya / Lewis / Baker / Grice4b/ Whitaker / Cook - Give Grice a shot to battle it out for RB2/3, he's a decent pass blocker

FB - Pressley

WR - Gordon / Watkins1a/ Hawkins / Burleson / Benjamin / Janis5/ Little / Cooper / Johnson / Gurley / Vernon - Passing on Julio Jones was a bad move, we don't repeat that mistake this year. Take Janis in the 5th, see if he can make the team.

TE - Cameron / Dray / Barnidge / Gray / Milton / Smith

OT - Thomas / Schwartz / Wallace / Faulk / Fragel

OG - Greco / Turner3b / Dozier4a / Pinkston / McQuiston / Gilkey - Turner is the most underrated guard in the draft and as good as the top 3. Back-to-back picks on guards make everyone nervous, but without this pick, depth is an issue on the line.

C - Mack / Warren

DT - Taylor / Hughes / Kitchen

DE - Rubin / D.Bryant / Winn / A.Bryant / Sanford / Henderson / Staples

OLB - Kruger / Sheard / Mingo / Groves / Martin

ILB - Dansby / Robertson / Skov3a/ Carder / Lattimore6/ Eubanks / Magee - Skov provides depth, as there's no one of note behind Dansby and Robertson. Lattimore expected to be a ST'er but may prove to be a capable backup

CB - Haden / Fuller2/ Skrine / Trufant / McFadden / Poyer / Adams / Posey / Heath / Hughes - Fuller is the best DB in this class, Skrine moves to nickel

S - Whitner / Gipson / Bademosi / Slaughter / Aubrey

ST - Yount LS / Cundiff K / Lanning P / Bogotay K

UDFA considerations - Guiton, Boyd, kickers

Prettyy solid evaluation. Especially since I think pretty much the same. I might kick out WR. I think we added a couple of players who will help in Hawkins and Burelson. Gordon and Cameron have emerged to the point it will free up the other outside guy.

nicely done sir. i would also say (as someone had posted earlier) to draft another RB as a third of those guys on our roster now are useless.

i would make #2 WR and #2 CB top priority.

The Browns can have 90 in camp. We currently have 73 under contract, and 10 draft picks.

QB - Hoyer / Tanney

Obviously gonna add at least one guy here from the draft, most likely a vet like Grossman who is familiar witb the Shanny system. My hope is that we get to nab manziel or bortles IF they slide down the board. If not, give me Jimmy G in the second and Tom Savage in the fifth or sixth.

RB - Tate / Ogbonnaya / Lewis / Baker / Whitaker / Cook

Need some more talent/youth here. I would love to nab Jeremy Hill, kid has tremendous talent just needs to get his goddamn head in the game and out of his ass. Storm Johnson as well.

FB - Pressley

Love that we finally have a real FB. Would still love to get a guy in the draft, preferably JC Copeland.

WR - Gordon / Hawkins / Burleson / Benjamin / Little / Cooper / Johnson / Gurley / Vernon

Honestly, if we only added a late round WR or didn't draft one at all I think we can now get by here. I think it would be very very stupid to do so though with so many fantastic wide receivers in this draft. Love me some Evans, Matthews, Kelvin Benjamin. Need a big bodied SOB to create mismatches and aid our red zone O.

TE - Cameron / Dray / Barnidge / Gray / Milton / Smith

We serviceable at TE. I could definitely dig taking a flyer on Colt Lyerla one the third say of the draft though. Another young stud who needs to get his head out of his ass. Worth the risk IMO.

OT - Thomas / Schwartz / Wallace / Faulk / Fragel

A) either draft a tackle, preferably Zack Martin late in the first, Bitonio in the second, another promising prospect in a later round (tackle is deep in this draft) or see below

OG - Greco / Pinkston / McQuiston / Gilkey

B) take a road grader to play RG (Dakota Dozier, Sua Filo) and give Schwartz another year to sack up. Honestly I can see us taking a guard and a tackle in this draft. Nice to have warm bodies with some talent to develop on the line.

C - Mack / Warren

Good to go now that mack is back for two more years at bare minimum. I would forego taking a center in this draft to develop and focus my attention elsewhere. We can always move another OL to center or take one next year as insurance.

DT - Taylor / Hughes / Kitchen

Taylor is a beast, and the two guys behind him can play too. Wouldn't be a bad idea to consider if a good talent at DT slides, but again I would focus elsewhere.

DE - Rubin / D.Bryant / Winn / A.Bryant / Sanford / Henderson / Staples

Another position group that is very solid, damn near excellent. The only thing missing is an absolute unstoppable monstrosity, buy this are hard to come by. If by some insane miracle we could get Clowney I would take him in a heartbeat, even though I think he is a better 4-3 scheme fit.

OLB - Kruger / Sheard / Mingo / Groves / Martin

Again solid, not yet spectacular. Mingo needs to ball out this year. Sheard is a badass. Kruger disappoints me. I'm torn between taking K. Mack at four or any number of other moves we could make.... All I know is sheard/mack as our base and mingo solely used as a designated pass rusher makes me all giddy inside.

ILB - Dansby / Robertson / Carder / Eubanks / Magee

I think Dansby gives us a place to start now at ILB. We need another talented rookie to throw in the mix. Mosley, Jones, Smallwood. Robertson is serviceable at best IMO. The other three scrubs can kick rocks for all I care.

CB - Haden / Skrine / Trufant / McFadden / Poyer / Adams / Posey / Heath / Hughes

We could really use a no.2 corner who is solid and can play press man like a boss. Skrine is good as a no.2 but outstanding as a nickel. I have a lot of respect for him considering all the action he gets with Haden on the opposite side locking down half the field. Our opponents hate Haden B) Curious to see what Trufant is capable of and if Mcfadden can develop some more.

S - Whitner / Gipson / Bademosi / Slaughter / Aubrey

I think whitner will be a home run in free agency come game day. Gipson. He is polarizing for me. On one hand he is a decent FS and on the other I feel we can do much much better. I'm very curious if my man crush midget Lamarcus Joyner could get away with playing FS in the NFL. Kid is absolutely electric as a DB. He played safety his first two seasons in college so why not. As for the rest of these guys, I expect very little.

ST - Yount LS / Cundiff K / Lanning P / Bogotay K

We can live with these guys.
