The Reverand Peterson has done more for South Central LA than any phony rights activist alive. Peterson uses the money from his radio show and donations to build schools for inner city teens to teach them a trade. And all are welcome. It's a crime that good black leaders like Peterson, Dr. Ben Carson and CL Bryant are ignored by their own race and thought of as "Uncle Toms" The white leftists are the ones that want the power to keep all African Americans in chains. Rent Bryant's movie "Runaway Slave" it is brilliant.

I have joined www.runbenrun.org and have donated to Dr. Carson's Campaign. After the mid term elections Dr. Ben officially registered as a Republican. Our prayer group offers Chronicles 2:14 on Mondays. He is set to announce his candadacy in a few months. If you go to the runbenrun web you can get more info. About volunteers etc.

Not so much about the two guys you mentioned - I have no idea who they are - but the general idea of moving on to new people and philosophies in politics. What you have now is a broken system where the two sides will disagree with anything the other says, twist and fear monger in an attempt to pander to their electorate, rather than actually agree on a policy; see McCain vs McCain on Cuba, for example.

 

I was reading an article the other day that put it quite nicely, something like "America has ended up with the sort of dynastic politics usually reserved for south-east Asian countries." Anyone can run for president - as long as their surname is bush, clinton or kennedy.

Yeah, I am registered with the Ben Carson site.

 

He didn't quite say what he meant to say, he meant that he'd rather not have crazy people get access

to guns in urban areas...

 

I admire him - have his book, "America the Beautiful" but haven't started reading it yet...

for about 4 months....

 

it's winter now. I finish my novel, and read some books and magazines on my list THIS WINTER.
