Nobody knows. But, suppose it happened? A giant solar storm zapped our

grid?

 

What would people do? Security systems in homes wouldn't even work. I'm no ardent prepper,

but sometimes, I think it's a legit question on some of these things.

 

EMP weapon, solar blast, some other catastrophe....who knows?

 

I like the idea of a common sense back up plan. Protection, back up food and water, medicine...

That is kind of what the report sounds like, though there seems to be a disagreement between FEMA and the Power Companies on the severity of the impact on the power grid.
