Defective materials There's always a chance that it's a combination of both, and that there is some nuance. Like, the materials would be fine in a different manufacturing process, and that process would work fine on other materials, but together it's got potential for disaster. Full auto is sort of a wast of ammo- you want a 3 or 5 shot burst like the military stuff can select. Turning a semi auto into full auto basicslly fucks up the weapon in terms of any reliability downrange, so you wouldnt wanna turn an expensive piece like a scar into full auto unless you got the parts to do it off the military version. Its basically at that point just ti jump into a room and spray everything. No gun smith here but thats what i was told by an ex marine sniper.
