Uzomah, TE, 6-5, 260 Auburn It's a big reach - but this kid can play, was just not thrown to much in their offense, but it's a pitiful TE draft. He could be a steal. 4th ROUND 2 picks I think this round is two wr's...pick two of the three. Can't wait for the Browns draft party, and couldn't find a way to get Bryce Petty unless the Browns trade down from 19, draft some other OLB, and pick up another second round pick. Whatever. You had me at Shelton. You're right that Beasley will probably be gone. I'd be stunned if he lasted longer than the 6th or 7th pick overall. I think we're going to get bullied into reaching on another QB in one of our first 2 picks. I reckon it's gonna be that Petty feller. Not saying I WANT that - it's just an acid reflux from the gut. Hope I'm wrong. I'd rather have us continue to strive to make this an easier team to QB like our 2014 plan looked to be making grand strides with. There's a lot of exciting directions we can go in round 1...Divine intervention isn't being cruel if our front office cooperates with it... I like your thought of keeping OL and WR till later.....which is where I am.... If you take the OL early, you will find a dearth of Defensive talent at your mid picks.....but if you take your quality D early....there will be plenty of WR and OL options waiting for you in the 2nd & 3rd.... And for me, the one thing Id change around is If Beasley and Shelton were both there at 12....Id take Beasley knowing he'd step into Sheards place and there would be several more DT's waiting..... Humphries is said to need a year to develop strength before he starts, so I stupidly figure he won't go as high as his skills would merit. And yes, I laughed at my TE pick, ...but I really don't like any other TE's, Maxx will go in the first, forget that, and Huerrman sp? Ohio State, sure I like him, except he will probably be gone. Tex ***************************************************************************** LOL. Actually, Tex, I wasn't pulling anybody's leg ! I read and read about TE's til I was ready to give up, but this kid will be a player. Sure, there's a lot of teams looking for TE's late or as UDFA's.... but I predict this kid isn't one of those. 'Bout halfway down, watch the little video of an interview with him. This kid will be a STEAL in the sixth, fifth or fourth rounds. So just one team takes him before the Browns in any one of those rounds, and what do ya do? There is nooooobody like him in end of the draft. I'd draft him over Nick O'Leary - I really like Jesse James, but NFLDRAFTSCOUT has him possible going in the third - and articles talk about the Giants taking a TE high, which probably won't be Maxx Williams. So, the Giants could very well take Jesse James in the third. That's how I compared the two, and figured the Browns had to reach for this kid. Read up on Jesse James and my pick, Ozumah... watch the video - and they are very close. So, if I were the picker for the Browns, I'd reach for Ozumah in a NY. He went to Auburn, not some small college.
