Clevfan4life
Really don't see why the Browns didn't even give him a look but whatever..that Texans defense is starting to get stacked. "IF" Clowney returns even at 80-90% they're gonna be the #1 defense in the league at some point in the next few years. Wilfork has never played with a 5 tech even remotely close to Watt and if Clowney heals right...Wilfork has probably also never had a jack OLB'er like Clowney on the line with him. Time will tell but it seems like Hoyer may have landed in a good situation with a defense that can cover his ass when he shits the bed again...and he will. But he'll also have games where he puts 30 points on the board and that defense won't squander those points.
miktoxic
they'll be the #2 defense right behind us.
Clevfan4life
they'll be the #2 defense right behind us. hehe, wish I shared your optimism. I do think our secondary still has the potential to be the best in the NFL...but front 7, no way we're gonna be better than the Texans next year even if Clowney never plays again. D Bone
We have to be able to stop the run.
miktoxic
if taylor stays healthy and we draft another NT they'll go a long way in stopping the run. gotta give pettine's scheme a chance.
Tour2ma
Texans got a bargain me thinks... Wilfork is going to be Cushing's new, best friend...
miktoxic
texans (on paper) will be the team to beat in that division. then again the bills will be the team to beat in the afc east (on paper). don't see either happening unless there is some type of joe montana blood infusion inside the training room. The Gipper
texans (on paper) will be the team to beat in that division. No....not as long as the Colts have Andrew Luck....and the DATs have Bo Diddley at QB. then again the bills will be the team to beat in the afc east (on paper). No....not as long as the Pats have Tom Brady and the Bills have Bo Diddley's mama at QB. don't see either happening unless there is some type of joe montana blood infusion inside the training room. That would mean that some 3rd round QB pick would have to become to be considered one of the greatest of all time. And if any team is gonna have that kind of luck we need it to be the Browns
