Zombo
Randy Starks signing two-year deal with Browns3 By Kevin Patra Around the NFL writer Published: March 16, 2015 at 02:34 p.m. Updated: March 16, 2015 at 02:51 p.m. The Cleveland Browns added a veteran passrusher to boost their defensive line. Starks brings versatility to the Browns, playing defensive tackle the past several seasons and could fit in at defensive end in Cleveland's 3-4 front.Randy Starks will sign a two-year contract in Cleveland worth roughly $8 million, NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reports. The durable 31-year-old missed just one game in seven seasons in Miami. He was cut this offseason as a cap casualty in the Dolphins'successful quest to land Ndamukong Suh. Starks will aid the Browns' pass rush as a rotational player. He compiled 30.5 sacks in his time in Miami. The addition won't address Cleveland's 32nd-ranked run defense in 2014, but it will boost a defensive front that struggled to pressure the quarterback last season (ranking just 27th in sacks). http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000479287/article/randy-starks-signing-twoyear-deal-with-browns

LondonBrown
Both Starks and Williams have barely missed any games over the last 5-6 years. Healthy guys with the right attitude. I'm pleased.

Tim Couch Pulls Out
Very excited about these acquisitions. Starks is a solid 4-3 interior pass rusher as well as a solid 3-4 end.

miktoxic
can't people ever see the positive without knit picking everything apart because the FO isn't doing what THEY think they should be doing? i mean for christ's sake if they know so flippin much why aren't they a GM? man i'd hate to have some of you mufus in the backseat when i'm driving. i swear i'd pull the car over and.......lol. JJmac28
The other key to the browns moves is the fact that they are only signing players that were cut. (Hartline, Clark, Possibly Bowe) I believe this does not affect our compensatory draft picks that we will receive for losing our free agents. Some one correct me if I am wrong. calfoxwc
What happened to the whining that the Browns weren't signing anybody on the first day? Nevermind. Glad it's over. Now we'll just have a few who are po'd about the Browns signing people in fa. oi.
TexasAg1969
Now if we can find a way to pull in Clay we will be ready for draft day in excellent shape.
gumby73
Now if we can find a way to pull in Clay we will be ready for draft day in excellent shape. I get the feeling when Miami tagged him late, it's going to kill this deal but Miami tight on Cap space may drag this out and I may be wrong unless Clay has a good Agent.. Tour2ma
This Miami/Cleveland thing is crazy.... Really... once upon a time NE Ohio folks favored the FLA gulf coast... Very excited about these acquisitions. Starks is a solid 4-3 interior pass rusher as well as a solid 3-4 end. While the latter seems a good fit, I'll not be "excited" until we make a run stopping move or two...
