Dan Skipper will be challenging that record this year I guess. He's supposed to be like 6'10! So whatever position he plays on the OL will probably have a new name. :)

You missed one. Alejandro Villanueva Steelers OT is also 6-9.

What a story he is. Former Army player given a chance by the Steelers, developing into a very solid LT for the Steelers.

A list of the shortest players would be interesting..

I'd keep it in the Super Bowl era though. Prior to that especially in the 1930's and 40's most players were small.

RB for the giants Dave Megget was only 5'7".

Currently the shortest OL is supposedly Matt Armstrong of the Saints, who stands at 6'2

The source I took this from may have been a couple of years old, so that may be why he was not on there.

Osweiler was not as well, but I knew the stat about him.

I think Joe Morris may have been smaller or the same height. (same after checking...5'7"

And actually, I see where Darren Sproles is only 5'6"

Herman Edwards I believe it was on Mike and Mike was just talking about why Osweiller will fail....he's too tall.

It has to do with his range of motion being too broad....those long arms, from the time he cocks his arm back to his release is too long, making it predictable wheres hes gonna throw. Herm said you cant change his mechanics.

I bet a 6'7" long snapper had a bad back

And, who is this guy? Tell us about him.

OLT from Ark. He couldn't find a way to stop Garrett in the first half this year so in the 3rd Q he took him out with a full diving layout cut block that caused the high ankle sprain Garrett had to play with the rest of the season. Legal? Yeah. Dirty? Yeah. He's a decent take day 3.
