The Gipper
Since the Dawn of the 21st Century, except for maybe one or two years, there has been a turnover of at least 5 teams that make the NFL playoffs each year. Here are just the last 2 years with the teams that were in one year and out the next: 2014 Playoff teams...bold means made the playoffs after not being in the previous year: NFC Cowboys Packers Lions Panthers Seahawks Cardinals AFC Patriots Steelers Bengals Ravens Colts Broncos Here is 2013.....Bold are teams that made playoffs but were not in Previous year. Team symbolizes that they did not make the playoffs in 2014: NFC Eagles Packers Panthers Saints Seahawks 49ers AFC Patriots Bengals Colts Broncos Chiefs Chargers The question is.....which 5 teams that were in the playoffs last year do you predict to not make it again this year.....and Which 5 teams that did not make it last year do you predict will be in the playoffs for 2015? And just FYI, the following teams have made the playoffs each of the last 3 years (some more): Packers, Seahawks, Patriots, Bengals, Colts, Broncos Also, FYI, the following teams have NOT made the playoffs any of the last 3 years: Bills/Jets/Dolphins/Browns/Jags/Titans/Raiders/Rams/Bucs/Bears/Giants. Hoping for the Browns of course, and I do think the Colts and Broncos slide. Cincy is vulnerable, Pittsburgh will outscore a bunch of teams I fear. In the NFC, I'm not buying the Eagles and Vikings hype. For some reason, I think the Saints can rebound even without Jimmy Graham. Darkhorse Super Bowl pick for me is Arizona. They were tough last year, injuries at the QB spot killed their hopes.

NFC Out: 'Boys Panthers Lions NFC In : Eagles Saints Falcons AFC Out: Ravens AFC In : Fins Squinting really hard to see us as the 5th, but can't quite focus... can't see an AFCN hat-trick again in 2015. Honorable mention "in" to San Diego...
wargograw
Why do you think the Boys are out, Tour? NFC out: Panthers, Lions NFC in: Saints, Vikings AFC out: Ravens, Steelers AFC in: Bills, Texans We will narrowly miss, which is fine with me for this year. A week ago I had the Steelers in the Super Bowl but I think they'll get behind the 8 ball with the Pouncey injury and the Bell/Bryant suspensions. Too much to overcome. I don't see a turnover of 5 but then again, this is the NFL. Teams I could see really imploding by their standards are Seattle and Denver.
Tour2ma
Why do you think the Boys are out, Tour? Going with the missing RB theory. Lack of their 2014 ball control element puts too much back on Tony and puts their still suspect D on the field more. I thought they helped their D this off-season up front and a healthy Lee is a bonus, but Scandrick's loss just hurt a suspect secondary.
wargograw
What's the missing RB theory? I googled it and just got a bunch of results about the Zero RB theory for fantasy.
Tour2ma
lol... maybe I invented it... Just meant that I think Murray is going to be hard to replace.
gumby73
NFC Out-- Zona, Lions, Panthers. NFC IN-- Philly, Saints, Minn. ///// AFC OUT- Pitts., Cinn., Denver AFC IN-- Mia., Colts, Texans. (Hoyer told not a playoff team QB?) Now got weapons to use and a Def. I'll always take the guy that has something to prove.
TexasAg1969
lol... maybe I invented it... Just meant that I think Murray is going to be hard to replace. And add to that the loss of their best DB for the season and that spells no playoffs.

You lost DeMarco Murray, remember? There is no one among their current crop of RBs that comes close to his ability.
