  1. It's a good spot for a G pick. But I saw that he was ranked 4th round. We don't have a 4th rounder so I guess we'd just take him in the 3rd.
  2. We'll see what happens in the upcoming #85 pick, but some days ago I said that I didn't think that this was the year that they would invest in an OT early. I was thinking day 3 for a chance on a OT.
  3. Yeah, it's a pipe dream. Perhaps Sanders the TE that I wanted. edit - missed him by 2 pick slots.
  4. Today & tomorrow mark step 2 of the process, the draft. Step 1 is FA. And at the conclusion of the draft we go back to step 1 to sign undrafted free agents.
  5. But take 21 of those guys off the list before we pick. (watch us trade the pick again) --- from sbnation: Wide Receiver Troy Franklin, Oregon Adonai Mitchell, Texas Keon Coleman, Florida State Roman Wilson, Michigan Ladd McConkey, Georgia Ja’Lynn Polk, Washington Malachi Corley, Western Kentucky Offensive Line Kingsley Suamataia, BYU Kiran Amegadjie, Yale Blake Fisher, Notre Dame Roger Rosengarten, Washington Tight End Ben Sinnott, Kansas State Running Back Jaylen Wright, Tennessee Trey Benson, Florida State Jonathon Brooks, Texas Audric Estime, Notre Dame Braelon Allen, Wisconsin Defensive Tackle Johnny Newton, Illinois Michael Hall Jr., The Ohio State Kris Jenkins, Michigan Ruke Orhorhoro, Clemson Braden Fiske, Florida State Defensive End Marshawn Kneeland, Western Michigan Jonah Elliss, Utah Austin Booker, Kansas Linebacker Junior Colson, Michigan Payton Wilson, NC State Edgerrin Cooper, Texas A&M Cornerback Cooper DeJean, Iowa Kool-Aid McKinstry, Alabama Max Melton, Rutgers
  6. https://www.dawgsbynature.com/2024/4/25/24134303/browns-helmet-third-option-logo-colors .....actually, I don't mind it as a 3rd hat. ---------- I'm off to band rehearsal. Enjoy round 1.
  7. Oh! Roman Gabriel passed? God Speed Roman Gabriel. You were one of my favorites back in the day!
  8. I hear ya. But a part of people died after the Chiefs playoff game. (amputations) Games are being played deeper and deeper into the winter. We're at a 17 game schedule right now. How long do we think that odd # 17 is going to last? It's going to be 18 some day. And they'll probably throw in another bye week. So we'll be even deeper into the winter. And the league will be scheduling night games...because it gives good TV ratings from the people sitting warm in their living rooms. I mean really, we wouldn't make our dogs stay out in that weather for the time frame of a football game. But it's ok for humans.
  9. The Chicago Bears are set to announce a $4.6 billion plan to build a new enclosed stadium and improved lakefront area with half of the money coming from taxpayers, sources said.
  10. Yeah, it's not touted as a good LB draft. I know that it's hard to justify a WR with all of the WR's we have...some of them draft choices from recent drafts that should be expected to flourish right about now...but it's a deep receiver draft so I expect we'll come out of the draft with one. Whichever WR is currently 'on the bubble' most probably won't be missed (Bell?). - Having said that, WR will probably be deep in drafts for the foreseeable future. I mean, colleges no longer run the wishbone. The college game now mimics the pro's. And I also like the college football player's new financial situation. It's keeping more kids in school for their senior year. Perhaps a percentage of these will come out with some sheepskin.
  11. With Jacob Phillips leaving perhaps they go that way early. (not that Phillips was much of a player for us)
