It would have been nice had there been more to it: 1920 Won the World Series over the Brooklyn Robins nka LA Dodgers 5 games to 2 (played a possible 9 game series then) 1948 Won one game playoff game over Boston Red Sox to win pennant .........Won World Series over Boston Braves 4-2 1954 Lost WS to NY Giants 4-0 1995 Won LDS over Boston Red Sox 3-0 .........Won LCS over Seattle Mariners 4-2 ........Lost WS to Atlanta Braves 4-2 1996 Lost LDS to Baltimore Orioles 3-1 1997 Won LDS over NY Yankees 3-2 ........Won LCS over Baltimore Orioles 4-2 ........Lost WS to Florida nka Miami Marlins 4-3 1998 Won LDS over Boston Red Sox 3-1 ........Lost LCS to NY Yankees 4-2 1999 Lost LDS to Boston Red Sox 3-2 2001 Lost LDS to Seattle Mariners 3-2 2007 Won LDS over NY Yankees 3-1 ........Lost LCS to Boston Red Sox 4-3 2013 Lost Wild Card game to Tampa Bay Rays 1-0 The Indians are 3-2 in series vs. the Red Sox (so far...including 1948 "playoff" game) They are 2-1 in series vs. the Yankees They are 1-1 in series vs. the Orioles They are 1-1 in series vs. the Mariners They are 1-1 in series vs. the Braves They are 0-1 in series vs. the Giants, Marlins, and Rays.
