The Gipper
If the playoffs started today these teams would be in: AFCE: Patriots 6-2 AFCN: Bengals 4-2-1 AFCS: Colts 5-3 AFCW: Broncos 6-1 (Leading for home field advantage) Wildcards: Chargers 5-3, Steelers 5-3. (they hold better conf. record than Ravens) In the hunt: Ravens 5-3, Dolphins, Browns, Chiefs 4-3 NFCE: Cowboys 6-2 NFCN: Lions 6-2 NFCS: Panthers 3-4-1 NFCW: Cardinals 6-1 (leading for Home field advantage) Wildcards: Eagles 5-2, Packers 5-3 In the hunt: 49ers and Seahawks 4-

LBC mike
We were in this situation. In the hunt just recently? Then withered away
gftChris
4-3 and still fucking last in the division. Only the Browns! Also, Steelers ahead of the Ravens? That crept up on me, Ravens have been playing well without the wife beater.

They won their only matchup to date, and the Ravens have the better division record. But with 3 5-3 teams in the mix....those two plus the Chargers, you go to which teams have the best conference record.....and the Chargers and Steelers have the better conference record than the Ravens do. Steelers/Chargers are 4-2 vs. rest of AFC, Ravens are 2-3. In the division though the Ravens are 2-2, while the Steelers are 1-2. At least I think that is how it works. Not disagreeing, yes that's how it works. But it snuck up on me. Still, they're playing at the weekend, one will be 5-4 when we'll (hopefully) be 5-3. Depressing watching the Saints-Panthers game this morning, seeing the whole division under .500, when we're above, and bottom.

Well, the Bengals, who sit on top...barely... still have to play the Browns twice on 11/16 and 12/22, plus the Steelers twice on 12/7 and 12/28. All the AFC teams are literally within a half game of each other Cincy 4-2-1, Rats 5-3, Squibs 5-3, Browns 4-
