Besides the $1 dog nights, fireworks, baseball caps and all that they are giving out three jerseys, Santana, Allen, Miller.

Plus two statues unveiled, Robinson and Boudreau.

Should be a fun year at the ballpark and..... "We're under way from the corner of Carnegie and Ontario." .

GO TRIBE!

Just read this little nugget...

The Indians just sold their 1,000,000th ticket for the '17 season. They sold their 1,000,000th ticket last season during MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND.

Apparently A LOT of Indians fans can't wait!

I am at the point of like: "Call me when they are back in the World Series and are ready to win it, and not blow it this time"

And miss what could be some fine baseball and another 90+ or 100 win season? I haven't checked the futures yet but the Indians might be the AL favorite again.... vs the Cubbies?

Well...you understand.....frustration at having come so close......

Name any other World Series that have gone on to be decided in extra innings of the 7th game, beside the last two the Indians lost!

Frustrating and yet with the battered starters it's amazing they made it to the 7th.

Now frustrating was Napoli's fameout, but maybe why they got to the playoffs.

Last night I was clicking around the dial at bumped into the CLE at DET game replay from last year, the game Tito put Santana at leadoff and he cracked a HR in his first at bat.

Tomlin was smokin' and Verlander still trying to beat the Indians for the first time in almost three years. Tribe wins 2-1 and I actually remember that game.

Verlander has no luck at all....unless you count Kate Upton (but she sounds squirrelly at times stacked but nuts).

....oh real live ST baseball on STO Saturday and Sunday 3 pm, woo-hoo.

GO TRIBE!

I'm ready, batter up.

For Saturday's 3:05 p.m. ET/1:05 MST Cactus League opener against the Reds -- live on MLB.TV -- Encarnacion will make his debut as Cleveland's new cleanup hitter. Atop the lineup will be designated hitter Carlos Santana, followed by third baseman Jose Ramirez, shortstop Francisco Lindor, Encarnacion at first base and Yan Gomes behind the plate.

Highly-touted prospects Bradley Zimmer (No. 1 on the Tribe's Top 30 prospects list, per MLBPipeline.com) and Greg Allen (No. 9) will hit sixth and eighth, respectively, in the spring-opening order. Allen will start in center, while Zimmer (normally a center fielder) will move to right. Daniel Robertson will play left and bat seventh, and second baseman Michael Martinez will hit ninth.

Its not on local TV. I checked.

It's on STO with the usual Manning and Underwood show plus the STO studio guys just like the regular season. Also on MLB.Com and of course on the Indians Radio network with Hammy.

I do occasionally like a radio game but still can't beat the TV.

The Indians are going to be the media darlings this year after their exciting 2016 World Series run with the opening day game on ESPN.

ST Game 1 - CLE 8 CIN 2, early in the season but our boys looked good. Too bad the WBC is going to interfere with ST, oh well.

ST Game 2 - CLE 1 CHI 1 in 9 innings, not exactly the fireworks of game 1.

Next TV game March 14 same day as March Madness play in games in Dayton, hey winter is almost over!

Buster Olney this morning says the Indians are favorites to win the World Series.

Maybe his opinion? I've heard the Cubs and maybe a CHI/CLE rematch.

From vegasinsider.com 3/29/17 the top teams:

ODDS TO WIN 2017 WORLD SERIES (11/2/17)

Team Odds

Chicago Cubs 19/5 (better than 4/1)

Boston Red Sox 7/1

Cleveland Indians 7/1

Los Angeles Dodgers 7/1

Houston Astros 12/1

New York Mets 12/1

Washington Nationals 12/1

San Francisco Giants 14/1

Detroit Tigers 30/1

New York Yankees 30/1

Seattle Mariners 30/1

St. Louis Cardinals 30/1

Texas Rangers 30/1

Toronto Blue Jays 30/1

Of course it is just his opinion. These odds posted are also just someone's opinion...some Las Vegas Bookmakers opinion.

But hey, I would be up for a Cubs/Indians rematch.
