IIRC, there was an even worse drought back in the 1930's, when there were several years of extremely hot temps...when the C02 levels were half of what they are today. In 1980, Exxon Mobil began funding mmgw denial. They eventually spent 30 million dollars on these efforts. So ask a simple question. Why spend 30 million dollars on mmgw denial if you don't believe the evidence for it is real?
