Here is a set of Trivia, Super Bowl and Championship game (pre-sb) related mostly:

 

1. Name those teams that are undefeated in their Super Bowl appearances.

3. What team has the best point differential in all of their Super Bowl appearances?

 

 

4. What team has the worst point differential in all of their Super Bowl appearances?

Hint: 4 QBs have started a SB for each of these 3 teams.

Note: Only other appearance by a team from Charlotte was the Panthers SB appearance. Two appearances by "Carolina Hurricanes" cannot count as Charlotte and Raleigh are 170 miles apart.

This would be like Cleveland claiming a Columbus Bluejacket title....or vice versa. Columbus/Pittsburgh/Detroit are closer to Cleveland than Raleigh is to Charlotte.

I think your exclusion keeps us off the list...
NYG should be on there... well over 6 NFL Champ losses alone I think... maybe the most of any team.
With 4 SB losses BUF likely had a couple AFL Champ losses to go with them.

NHL Avs won a couple cups circa 2000?
MLB Rockies appeared in one WS, but lost... maybe 15 years ago?
NBA Nuggets made a final I think, but may have been in ABA days... mid 70's? Guess: they won...

The Ravens are 2-0 in their appearances. The Jets, Saints, and Bucs are 1-0

 

2. Name those teams that are winless in their Super Bowl appearances.

Bills and Vikings are each 0-4. Bengals are 0-2. Falcons, Chargers, Titans, Cardinals and Panthers are 0-1.

Panthers can join Bengals, or get out of this group altogether come Sunday.

 

 

3. What team has the best point differential in all of their Super Bowl appearances?

The 49ers are a +96 in their SB appearances.

 

 

4. What team has the worst point differential in all of their Super Bowl appearances?

The Broncos are -126 ...and could increase their lead by losing Sunday.

 

Note: In their Super Bowl appearances the NY Giants have scored 104 pts, and have allowed 104 pts.

The Vikings....were 1-0 in NFL championship games.....they played only in the very last one played ( a big win over the Browns)

The Cowboys, went 0-2 including the Ice Bowl.

 

All other teams to play in an NFL championship game besides Vikings and Cowboys won at least one and lost at least one.

 

C. Which teams that are still current NFL franchises that played in the NFL during those years did not make an appearance in an NFL Championship game?

The Steelers. The championship games started being played in 1933, and that is the same year the Steelers were formed. They didn't appear in a single title game in all those years. (they had one single playoff game...pre title game...in the post season)

The 49ers. From when they came into the league from the AAFC in 1950 to 1969 they did not play for a title.

The Falcons

The Saints.

These last two were only in the NFL for a couple of years before the merger...

2007 the Rockies lost the World Series to the Red Sox. Their only WS appearance

2001 and 1996 the Avalanche won the Stanley Cup. They appeared twice and won both times

1976 The Nuggets in their only Finals appearance lost the ABA title.
