All the hit pieces that were everywhere last week. Hillary Clinton's campaign paid something like 22 veterans to protest Trump about where did the money go for veterans charities.

 

Then they all got BTFO by the guy playing speed chess.

A normal politician would have panicked, squashed it immediately. Trump managed to dominate a couple weeks of the news cycle again and coming out looking great - he's playing Korean star craft

Idk about veterans, but I know there was a poll among active duty military that said nearly 80% of them support Trump - I'd assume veterans are along the same lines, especially since older people tend to be more conservative. (not that there aren't young veterans, but there's a lot more older people in the veteran group than the active duty group.)

When you realise you're gaming maybe a few hours per week outside of study or work, and these kids are spending 30 hours a week on it, you kinda get the idea that online isn't for you. Besides, split screen with actual friends in the same room is the way to go.

Madden gets the most of my attention during it's season. 32 man competitive leagues are great.

Occasionaly there are some single player games that come along and basically they become your secondary job, or primary for tits like stuart. Doom is one of those games.

 

I was in dc over the weekend visiting fam but my thoughts would invariably lead back to the home base and my office, specifically the well put together PC that seemed to be calling me home. Play me, play me...you must play me.

 

Doom is like that. If i had a 3rd arm/hand take a wild guess whst it would be doing while i played that game

Madden can be nice when you play with people that try to apply realistic, SIM based concepts.

That's how I play because I have a healthy respect for football and I'm also not a bitch.

Some of the things they've done to cut down the 'cheese' has been great. Especially from 11-13. Once you take the offense out of the gimmick, the gimmick is all you're left with and people quit easily. I'll go to the tourneys to try and win a free copy. Won two in August of 14. But I didn't feel like buying an Xbox one just to play one game.


Haven't played Doom. Didn't like nor understood the hype when Doom3 was out. Didn't play Halo until 4. Half life 2 was the business back then.

Hadn't bought a game in over 3 years then a friend gifts me Warhammer over steam. Played the fuck out of it on my week off. Great game if youre into strategy - but it's time consuming. I doubt I'll log over 3 hours a week anytime soon.

I would whoop all your asses in Madden. I was ranked in the top 1% in Madden 25. Also, you need to play Dark Souls if you haven't yet. Played through that with a couple of my college roommates and it was a blast.
