now, according to your article, Chris, it was a fresh water ice cube in a glass of salt water.

fresh water is only eh... somewhere around 2% ? of all water on the earth. So, 98 whatever

percent is salt water.

So, that ice cube in the glass is a whole lot more than 3%, right? Try putting in an ice cube in relative

amounts. A tiny little eensie weensie ice cube. Then consider that the ocean currents will diffuse the

fresh water eventually, and minimize the effect even further.

This is basically why the flooding models are a crock, and keep failing to be accurate. I mean, look at

your glass. Small glass, large ice cube... more like 25-30 percent fresh water? That is convenient,

but dishonest, or simply wrong.

Which takes us away from the real problem - blaming man's activities, CO2, for warming that isn't happening,

and weather that fluctuates from ice age weather to warmer weather over several thousand years, back

to pre-human existence. It's a crock. and our oceans aren't flooding, and we are supposed to be

"Waterworld" by now.

Again, you're saying the same thing as me. The relative densities of salt water and fresh water would result in some amount of sea level rise. Not much, a couple of inches maybe.

You're also forgetting land ice - and that's a lot tougher to regrow. The point has been made and duly accepted that the antarctic ice sheet won't ever fully melt because it is land ice in an area that gets no sunlight for six months of the year or so. On the other hand, Greenland has a land ice sheet, around 1.7 million square kilometres and a couple of kilometres thick. If that melts in to the sea, there's going to be big, serious trouble. To quantify that, if it *all* melts, it could be a rise in sea levels of up to 20ft - that would be bad. Note also, it doesn't necessarily have to melt, just break off from the land in to the ocean.

I'm not forgetting land ice. It comprises a fraction of the fresh water on earth.

I'm saying, that if the oceans DO rise a few inches... what the hell does

CO2 have to do with it?

How does that prove MAN-MADE GLOBAL WARMING?

When the ice age melted away, it wasn't because we produced too much

green house gas.

The pictures "here is what the earth changes to with the expection mass flooding" are nonsense.

Every one of the dire predictions' deadlines, has come and gone with the wind.

More and more scientists are not boarding the mmgw immediate devastating crisis train.

No, but we can discredit the predictions that said he was going to show up in previous years.

Would you go and let yourself be taxed and fined and fee'd until you were blue in the face

over the predictions.... because "we just have to DO SOMETHING in case" ....

nope, me neither.

so, there ya go.

o.

Well one would think "you people" would have done much introspection and self examination at this point in an effort to understand why he has not come back. Perhaps it is you not him?
