THE BROWNS BOARD

Recommended Posts

This is the most unbelievably dull movie Sam Elliot has ever made. The movie is about a gracious actor, now in his 70s reflecting back on his career. Specifically the role he played in a movie called hero. Along the way he is diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and we see him struggle to tell his ex-wife and his 34 year old daughter who he has a somewhat unwelcome relationship with.

The only saving grace of this movie is Laura Prepon, who plays a comedienne budding girlfriend to the Hero. Man, she is gorgeous. Absolutely time stopping from my chair.

Rotten tomatoes says 71% of the audience liked it. If you take Sam and Laura out of this movie, you REALLY have a turd. This movie was like eating a bowl of steam. You burp and it doesn't remind you of anything.

This gets and F from me.

Always loved Sam Elliot.

Me too, and his acting isn't bad. The role blows. The movie blows. Prepon is gorgeous.

She is.

She is a throw back to the sultry starlets of days gone by. SHe reminds me of Laren Bacall
