I've tried to avoid this board so as to avoid explaining my "Crayola Fandom" (Browns/Reds), but this deserves some recognition.

I enjoy reading your posts no matter the topic, Legacy.

As for Griffey, I've loved the guy his entire career. Just a joy to watch.

BTW, the Reds are a FAR more enjoyable team to watch than the Indians this year. From their kids to the players in their prime and those past it, I've probably watched more Reds games than any other team (not named the Indians) this year.

Thanks Beans. I have a lot of respect for you & your posts too. Especially on this board. I'm more of a lurker/ reader here.

As for Griffey, he is really a stand up guy, and a heck of a ball player. The same reception Quinn got in Cleveland is what Griffey got in Cin-tucky when he arrived. I will always love the Reds, but the one nice thing about their *cough* recent slump is that I can begin focusing on the Browns season by the All-star break each year. rolleyes

We're in the same boat there. CIMO mentioned it in another post, but the only consolation for being out of the race around here is tracking the interest in Sabathia. It's a weird, mixed up world when you're rooting for as many teams as possible to do well enough to be in the race come the trading deadline.
