The blur is nearly gone from the playoff picture and this is the last week of the battle to claim the remaining spots.

BB1
Parma Pounders 10-3-0 and Dropping the Hammer 9-4-0 have clinched. The number 3 spot is currently held by DTBH at 8-5-0. Beanpot defeated Mayhem 82-75 leaving Mayhem clinging to the #4 spot by the thread of a few overall points. Insert Clever Name is riding Beanpot's coattails and could still sneak into a playoff spot.

Insert Clever Name faces DTBH this week while Mayhem has a critical matchup against the 6-7-0 Zombo's Dawgpounders who have won 3 in a row, playing as though they have something to prove. Beanpot will battle the 6-7-0 Bowldawgs.

20 points from Adrian Peterson helped WVBfan climb to 3-10-0 by defeating the Desert Dawgs 73-70. Anquan Boldin was held to 3 fantasy points for the Dawgs thanks to an improving Cleveland defense. This week the 11th place Winged Nuts face WVBF in a fight to stay out of the basement.

Tom Tupa took top scoring honors in BB1, defeating Insert Clever Name 120-79.

BB2

WPBDawgs snagged Viagra honors for the week with 124 points claiming victory over Samoth's Super Slam.

Beanpot extended their streak to 8 by defeating Thaaktown! 112-103. Beanpot has clinched the top spot in the league over the Houston Fluffers who have also secured a berth in the playoffs. The Fluffers washed away the dirty hands 122-32. Dirty hands, who registered zero points from McNabb, Hackett, Jacobs, and Green, responded to the loss by murmuring, "I know."

Calfox KosarDawgs are standing third at 9-4-0 and are being chased by the Latrobe 33ers and WPBDawgs, both at 8-5-0. The WPBDawgs have won 4 in a row and their playoff hopes are partially in the hands of Mayhem who could help by defeating Latrobe in the final week of the regular fantasy season. Samoth's Super Slam having lost 4 in a row declared the 124-92 loss to WPBD, "pathetic."

BB3

Only the 4th playoff spot is up for grabs as the Pack Rats (11-2), Lambdo's Air Show (10-3), and Fan of Steel (10-3) have secured their places in fantasy league history. Calfox KosarDawgs at 7-5-1 and Seahawk Charlie's, 7-6-0 have the best shot at snagging the final available slot. Calfox faces a tough week against the Pack Rats who hold the best record in all three leagues and have won 10 in a row. Seahawk Charlie's match up against Beanpot in one of the deciding games. Beanpot and BK is God registered another fantasy league tie this week with 95 points. Beanpot could have won if he'd left Green Bay's defense and their -2 points on the bench.

That's nearly it for the regular season. Good Luck, everyone! May the best Dawgs win.

Kathy

I was snubbed out of TBB's FF league this season... I knew there was a conspiracy ---last years 'Ky Hicks' finished 8-8 and were clearly on the rise ---improving each season (3-13, 6-10, 8-8).

Check out this...you lucky a** bastards...

I never thought I'd find myself saying this, but GO ZIPPY, GO!

Dennis
And if you need lineup advice, feel free to post any questions you might have to the board...I don't think anyone would have a problem with that in a nice, friendly competition like this.

And why, pray tell, would you be rooting for Zippy to defeat my team? ::foot tapping::

Well, you're ahead of me, as is Beanpot (if it makes you feel better, I'm rooting for him to lose as well). I'm just thinking about the big picture here: I know it would mean a lot to Zip to end the season on a winning note, and if it helps me get in the playoffs, well, I guess that's an unintended (albeit nice) side-effect. I'm just thinking of his emotional well-being, is all. rolleyes

Oh ... I will win. You can count on that.

In fact, I will win by more than 42 points ... which, when you and Beanie lose, propels me into the final playoff spot which so rightfully belongs to me.

my team looked good on paper at the beginning of the season.... no chance of making the playoffs so giving up is about the only option
