Vince Redd, OLB -- Liberty

Redd, who began his college career at Virginia before transferring to Liberty, turned in a workout for the ages. He measured 6-6, weighed in at 263 and then turned in forty times that ranged in the mid-4.5 area, with some stopwatches reading 4.48. He also posted a 39-inch vertical jump and 9-foot-10 broad jump.

Also, G-Tech's DE/OLB Darrel Robertson tore a pec muscle. He's still well liked because he had a great year AND a great Senior Bowl week... but he could be there for us.

Why did he leave Va for a school like Liberty??

There was a big story on him... I know he followed a coach.

I've been trying to figure this out as well.

He was following a coach to Liberty, but a big part of it was due to problems he had at UVA.

Al Groh suspended him for violating team rules, so Redd elected to transfer.

Apparently, he was involved in a fight at at frat party (story here). Maybe that's why he was suspended.
