wow...i found that thread, and am still chuckling. and asshole and a baby....

Turner is one of my favorites of all time. I remember waiting for the team to return in 1997-98 and Gumbo made an Erocc Highlight video. I couldn't believe how many bone crushing hits he had for us in big games.

We have ALWAYS missed this type of player at this particular position since our return to the league. A hard-hitting safety woulod have cleaned up a lot of sloppy LB play over the years ... it's the 'eraser' position .... erases mistakes by the front seven.

Turner ranks, but I wouldn't put him as our best safety ever....I would rank Thom Darden ahead of him.
