SIKAHEMA “CHOPS DOWN” CANSECO

Former NFL player and current Philly sports reporter Vai Sikahema made short work of former baseball slugger Jose Canseco on Saturday, knocking Canseco out in the first round of a boxing match.

Despite being seven inches shorter than Canseco, Sikahema got the job done.

“When you step inside the square circle,” Sikahema told the Press of Atlantic City, “don’t ever think that your size is going to matter because in Philadelphia, we will chop you down.”

A crowd roughly estimated at 1,250 attending the fight roared as Sikahema knocked down Canseco twice in the only round, before the fight was stopped.

“The only thing that surprised me was that it didn’t end in the first 30 seconds,” Sikahema said.

In somewhat related news, former NFL player Art Donovan will be wrestling Ted Williams’ frozen head on August 15 in Baltimore.

Seven inch difference is HUGE. This is really funny. I would like to see that.

that's height....which doesn't necessarily translate to reach. plus they're both scrubs as far as boxing's concerned, so no surprise here actually. i'd like to have seen it anyway tho too.

I knew Cansucko would get his ass beat, that had the writing all over the wall. Cansuck is just an inflated roid head and I doubt he's even very strong let alone can scrap.

canseco had a clear shot-must hit like a girl. vai clipped him and that was all she wrote. apparently helpless after that, it looked like the off balance canseco resorted to tackling him to finally make it stop.
