Actually the Big Ten had a Wrestler in every championship round of the NCAA Tournament and had two in I think 2 or 3. Iowa a Big Ten team is a perennial contender and happened to win this year, and our beloved Bucks took second. The Big Ten continually dominates the wrestling world.

Probably one of the hardest sports out there besides maybe boxing/mma and gymnastics. Basketball there is a manly sport though. Rather wrestle and loose than play basketball and dribble before I shoot, if you know what I mean.

It's absolutely ruined our kids perception on what a real wrestler does....

The one Ohio State kid blew out his ankle with 30 some seconds left. He finished the match and held on to victory. Very good match

I was just wrestling our John Deere tractor. We had a terrific shape front end loader put on it and had it delivered yesterday.

Well, the delivery guy parked it in our driveway. He's a Browns fan too. ...Wants Quinn in, and DA on his way...

A bit later, I went to park it around back, and I put the low range from park to first range. But when I went to shift gears, wouldn't shift for anything.

So, after several minutes of trying, while glancing at my wonderful cute Wife trying valiantly not to laugh, I simply turned the motor back off, climbed down, and said:

"Hmmm. All of a sudden I'm really needing a drink of water..."

and she said:

"Hmmm. You're going to go read the manual?"

and I said:

"That too."

So, it wasn't much later after reading the manual, that we found out that you put the range shift in neutral, then put the other shift out of park and neutral, and you can shift just fine.

The Browns, gymnastics and farming are REAL. Can we keep it real?

(I didn't include pro basketball because I still remember Michael Jordan being allowed to take four full steps to the baskets)

They are a good team.

I live in Chattanooga, which has a school(UTC) that plays in the Southern Conference. No way year in year out we have teams that can hang with the Carolinas of the world, but every now and again we do. It isn't a bad basketball conference. UTC,Davidson, E.Tennessee St, Western Carolina, App St. have all put together good basketball teams over the years.

Davidson plays solid defense and 4 pretty good plays who can play on their own. Add them to Curry who is simply a lights out shooter and you have a team who can beat people.

Early in the season Davidson played a real aggressive schedule....I may pull it up after this post, but I remember they went to Carolina early on and almost won that game.

They can hang.

That is the beauty of basketball. It only takes 1 real good player and 4-5 more who can play solidly. Add a coach who knows how to make the right coaching moves and you have a team who can win against even the best.

NC...72-68

Duke...79-73

UCLA...75-63

All were on big teams floors.


The UCLA game was the only one you might expect went the way you would have thought. Seems I remember Curry having a bad cold or flu at the time. Something was keeping him less than 100%.
