Just trying to liven up the offseason for you all!!

ROFLMAO

Maybe give the mods a little work to do!

Why does the first 6 months take SO LONG to pass by, but the last 6 months seems to FLY by quite quickly?

Argh.. Let's add 3 games to the schedule, and a second bye week!

That way, training camp starts in the middle of June, preseason games start in July, and the season starts Aug. 1.

You know,

A sixty-five man roster plus the practice squad would allow for development of players within a system in a better way than we have it today.

Morever, the increased games, 2 at home and two away, lets say, would also provide more TV, Stadium, etc. revenue which would cover any cost in increasing the size and thus expense to the teams.

Yeah, I would love that.

I'm ready for the season too man... I am not into Pro Baseball or hoops. For me it is Browns, NFL, fantasy football, and march madness.. summertime if I am lucky we get a little camping in.. Bring on Dallas!!!!!!!!!!

Couldn't agree more. Over here in England our soccer teams play from mid august until the end of May, only 2.5 months off season. (yes I know it is not as punishing, I'm not comparing sports. They do play over 55 games a seson on avergae though!)The NFL off season is just too long. In all seriousness has the league looked at extending the season ever? Another few games would be terrific surely.

Maybe even play the steelers 4 times a season so we can get to really hurt them. Smile
