No doubt Scott has talent.....I just question his character.

The rape charge that was dropped aside, there are several other team suspensions in his past that could foretell a attitude that isn't going to be the best.

I am all for second chances, but this guy is a little rough around the edges.

Can you find the other team suspensions? He was a starter his freshman year then got hurt. He wasn't completely healed and lost his starting job his 2nd year. Due to injuries, he got to start at the end of the season and would have been the starter last year, then came the rape BS. He had some minor problems before the rape stuff, but you make him sound like he was suspended most of his college career and was a punk.

This is a decent kid that had some hard luck injuries and lost his starting job. He may have had some other minor problems, but this wasn't Mo Clarett. The phony rape charges cost him his whole season last year.

This isn't a third or fourth chance. Jo Pa wanted him to come back this year and be his starting RB, but he opted out because of the stigma he had live with at Penn State. And, he wasn't a fumbler. So, again tell me about his other suspensions and his bad attitude. I haven't read about them and the Brown's FO thinks the kid has potential and guaranteed they checked him out.

You think they just sign anybody without checking them out. They do as much checking into character of these players as they do watching film of them.

Let's give him a break until he shows he doesn't deserve one.

That makes him a bad person with serious character flaws. Here's a kid that got started down the wrong path and had a few minor mishaps. Pretty simular to Troy Smith. He got his second chance this kid deserves to show if he learned from his mistakes or not.

No doubt.....I never said he shouldn't.

I am not trying to smear the kid, just presenting the facts and voicing my concern. Just a FYI as something to keep an eye on.

But don't worry, my voice doesn't have any impact on who we keep or who we cut.
