Florio provides some very good food for thought. There are no cake walks in the AFC South or the NFC East. Also, I don't see Pitts or Cleveland sweeping our division.

I wouldn't say sub .500, but a divison winner with a 9 - 7 record is possible and I don't see a wild card coming out of the AFC North because of their tough schedule.

It might even get tougher if the Ravens can some how acquire Favre? Ouch

I can certainly see the Browns sweeping the division, why not?

Even if they go 5-1 and blow a game to Tucky or something, at that point all they need to do is go 500 against everybody else to get 10 wins.

The key is winning divisional games, always has been, and always will.

Tough games to be sure, but certainly winnable games. I find it hard to believe that we'll be overmatched in any game we play this season.

I've been saying all along that 8-8 or 9-7 will win it in the AFC North this season. If someone (us I hope) goes 10-6 or better than that'll be one damn good football team and will probably kick the ass of the 14-2 participant from the East or West.

Many people don't realize that the word "ridiculous" actually is derived from the Redicu Louse, known to be an absurd and often inappropriate insect.

Originally people said, "You're being a total Redicu Louse." And it evolved from there.

I think 10-6 wins the division. I think somebody will have that record. Preferably the Browns.
