The Cavs signed a couple of D leaguers to play tonight

Cavaliers sign F Dickens, G Thomas

CLEVELAND (TICKER) —The Cleveland Cavaliers moved to plug the gaps in their roster Friday, signing forward Kaniel Dickens and guard Billy Thomas from the Colorado 14ers of the D-League.

Dickens and Thomas will take the two roster spots vacated Thursday when the Cavaliers shipped Drew Gooden, Larry Hughes, Shannon Brown and Cedric Simmons to Chicago in exchange for Ben Wallace, Joe Smith and a 2009 second-round draft pick in a three-team, 11-player deadline-day deal.

Dickens, a second-round draft pick by the Utah Jazz back in 2000, has averaged 20.4 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 29 games for the 14ers this season. Dickens has played for Utah and the New Jersey Nets in the NBA.

Thomas, who went undrafted out of Kansas in 1998, began his NBA career in 2004 with the Nets and has also played for the Washington Wizards. In 27 games for the 14ers this season, Thomas has averaged 15.7 points, 3.4 rebounds and 3.7 assists.

I know WSH is hurt too but I still dont believe we won that one last night. The fact that Lebron even sniffed a triple double just shows how incredible he is.
