1. Lebron feasts on the Celtics. He's averaging like 34 points a game over 10 games, never less than 31. That's crazy.

2. Daniel Gibson has found the range. He's on fire. If Wally stays hot, too, the formula truly comes together on offense for the Cavs: If you double Lebron, and you will, we'll hit threes.

3. Ben Wallace was brought here to cover Garnett. Or someone like Garnett. KG is the key to the Celtics offense, not just scoring but also passing of the double. If Wallace can handle him in ways Drew could only dream of, the trade is a success.

If Garnett scores 25 ppg, the trade didn't work.

4. In 7 playoff series with Lebron, the Cavs have won a road game every time... except for last year's finals, of course. And the Celtics have shown a weakness on the road.

The key: Steal one of the first two games. Then the Cavs become the favorites, just like that.

You won't lose any games either as a direct result of a 15 point first quarter. It's the first quarter. And they've played like garbage.

This game will be close again when we hit a few shots.

I'm not sure I've EVER seen a great player have THAT bad of a game, right up to missing the game tying layup with about 7 seconds left.

He was 2 of 18 with 10 turnovers? Seriously... anyone ever seen a superstar put up numbers like that in the playoffs?

He missed the exact same shot at the end of the game vs. the Hawks. I'm glad that the rest of the team played decent tho. West had a bad game also. Sasha really helped, wally is doing good but he misses way too many shots because he catches the ball and shoots while moving in the same motion. You can't make many shots doing that. Lebron needs to quit shooting 3's, seriously. He needs to be getting the ball at the top of the key, driving and drunking or dishing to an open shooter.

If lebron had even an average game for him, it would have been a blow-out.... IN BOSTON. Damn that would have been nice.

I may have to back up Skip bayless a little more about Lebron. I have to admit Lebron wearing that Yankees hat to Indians playoff game pissed me off add that with his "limited" specially designed NY shoe irritated me also. I watched him twice in High school and honestly never knew if he was going to be that good in the Pros. I was clearly wrong there.. however his front runner never lived in NY and Dallas crap irritates me. I just think the fans who pay him should get a little more respect than his shoe crap and hat wearing garbarge from a team that cleveland clearly dislikes.

Lebron is not at Kobe's level YET. The "king" mantly may yet be a little premature but he is only 22... He has plenty of time this season or in the future to crown himself.

I have to go with Sev on this, too. Being a Lakers fan, too (there, I said it), watching Kobe in the playoffs so far is QUITE a bit different than watching Lebron. I won't go on and on, but if you've seen the two Lakers-Jazz games, you know what I'm talking about. He's averaging 36 points a game on about 60% shooting and that's just one element of his game. He's getting his teammates involved, making crazy good passes (like late last night... amazing), AND psyching up Staples until it's close to exploding.

Kobe looks really comfortable on the big stage... and insanely determined. I'm ready to see Lebron get that look in his eye. He did NOT have it Tuesday night.

This is not to excuse LeBron's performance the other night, as it was one of the worst I've seen...

But Kobe has it made out there. He doesn't face the task that LeBron does on offense. LeBron takes the ball at the 3 point-line and has to beat 5 people.

Kobe just gets the ball at the elbow or on the wing and beats single coverage. And more importantly, he gets to pick and choose his spots. He doesn't ever have to force anything because his team is so good. That makes it a lot easier to shoot a high percentage and have your flaws be hidden. Any time a player is on a good team they look better and more efficient.

It scares the shit out of me to think what LeBron would do in a structured offense like the Lakers run, he's already the scoring leader shooting 49% from the field while basically going against multiple defenders every time. You give him better looks at the bucket and figure out away to get him away from double/triple coverage?

I'm convinced that Kobe's the better player after I've watched them both recently...but don't be fooled by how immaculate a guy's game looks when he's surrounded by a great team. Kobe is the same guy that shot a bad percentage and was hardly a team player in the past, but now that his team is so good and he does less those flaws are diminished.

Bron would have the "killer instinct" if he knew he was going to face single coverage instead of taking the ball at halfcourt and having 3 or 4 guys defend him. He works his ass off just to get a mediocre look at the bucket. It's hard to have that kind of "you can't stop me" confidence when 3 or 4 defenders are guarding you.

Kobe has looked amazing in the playoffs thus far, though.

(You'd also agree that when LeBron has games like he did against Washington in game 6 -- 27,13, and 13 -- it's rare to see Kobe play a game like that. If ever.)

I still think Mike Brown does not use LeBron right, he should have LeBron post up more, instead of getting the ball at the top of the 3-point circle, and trying to drive or dish. No guard or small forward alone can stop LeBron on the block, he is too strong, quick, and big, but that idiot Brown doesn't use him this way.
