The Pacers really would love to ditch his absurd deal (20 mill each of the next two years) and would throw in their #11 pick to get a couple expiring contracts (Wally and Damon). O'Neal has told friends he expects to be a Cav next year. It's on Cleveland.com today.

Only thing that scares me about JO is the injury bug. Other than that I'd kill to have two first rounders and JO.

Would a deal like that involve the Cavs giving up their first rounder too is my question? I think that if the Cavs could swing this by just giving up our two expiring contracts in Wally and Damon for JO and their first, we could possibly move up and take the third overall pick in a trade for the two firsts we would then have...allowing the Cavs to draft Mayo and become bad ass right now!

JO is a black hole down in the post. Once you send it in he doesn't pass back out. Also, he may be capable of running, but he doesn't. I take a pass on him.

I'd trade half our team for the 2003-04 Jermaine. Only player I'd trade for him now is Ben Wallace (how's that for a juxtaposition)

Jermaine would have been great for Andy and Wally if he is healthy. Then we would just draft a 4 for youth at the position. Wallace is a 4, Andy is a 4, and Joe Smith is a 4. Both Wallace and Andy can play the 5 but are better at the 4. That is why I would have liked that trade.
