Kupchak is the God right now after managing to keep Bynum and acquire Gasol. The Lakers are arguably the best team in the NBA right now... and Bynum will come back in a few weeks.

But the LA Times NBA writer said the Cavs trade was fantastic. He said they lost a goofball (Gooden) and a bust (Hughes) along with guys who literally didn't matter at all... and got two starters who can really shoot (Wally and West), a defensive force (Wallace) and a very useful inside guy off the bench (Joe Smith).

The assumption is that West, Wally, Z, Lebron, and Big Ben will start. That sets up a pretty scary "second unit" of Andy, Joe Smith, Boobie Gibson, and Sasha... once the team is healthy.

Wallace shouldn't see the court in the last five minutes.

The Cavs will legitimately go 9 deep, which is rare. And that doesn't account for Damon Jones or Devin Brown.

Still don't have that one true "star" next to LeBron, and our perimeter defense will be weakened.

Other than those 2 things, theres really nothing to complain about in regards to the new roster.

It was a rough shooting game... but I really like him (as odd as that sounds). Like the way he runs the team. His stroke will come.
