Just heard about this guy. Didn't graduate high school, eventually got his GED and went to junior college for two years, then UT-Martin in 2007-08. In his first game of the year against #1 Memphis, he scores 35 (7/13 from 3) with 10 rebounds. Two games later he has 25 points, 12 boards, 10 assists and 10 steals. The first Quadruple-Double in NCAA history.

For the year he average 25.7 ppg (4th in the nation), 7.8 rpg, 4.5 apg, 2.8 spg.
46% FG, 83% FT, 39% 3pt


Measured at 6'3, 190. Fits the bill as a combo guard(Monta Ellis is 6'3, 171 for comparison)


He's a borderline first rounder right now. Could be an absolute steal and could really help our team being able to play with and away from the ball. After we pick up a more proven player at 19 I think we'd be smart to go after this guy in a trade late 1st/early 2nd.

He really is an amazing story. That he's ranked so high after such a weird journey has to be so gratifying to that kid.
