I like Delonte West. I think he can be a good starting PG in this league. But the fact that he and Joe Smith are probably the best we brought in? That's a little troubling.

Once Boobie's back, it's tough to see the need for Wally Z. Pavlovic, Boobie, West, Damon Jones, and Devin Brown make up a very nice guard rotation for the playoffs.

And Wallace? Yikes. He can't do anything offensively and he has a bad back. I'm having really hard time convincing myself that I'd rather have him than Drew Gooden.

Yeah, it's gonna be a very deep team come playoff time, with Andy, Boobie, Damon, Joe Smith, Wally, and Devin all coming off the bench. Almost absurdly deep, in fact.

Not sure that means as much as we want it to, though.

Once you get past 8 or 9, the depth won't mean anything unless we have some unforunate injuries.

As far as Wally goes, I like having him. I think I'd rather our point guard rotation be Delonte/Boobie and Wally and Devin Brown be on the bench to back up Sasha and LeBron.

If we're going to have a defensive liability on the floor, and it's between Damon and Wally, I'd rather it be Wally. Wally's offense is a ton more versatile, and his shot will come around (it already has.)
