Numbers Retired and hangs in the rafters
Posted
The Big Read this morning is Hill's staff whispering about her "dignified exit." She'd like to concede in victory, maybe in West Virginia, maybe telling working-class white folk that Obama is a really terrific guy.

We'll see. She'd become a Dem icon if she did it right, but the girl really wants to win.

I just don't see her quitting, but she may think the superdelegates will choose her. I do not know enough about that process to make a call on that, but she seems to hang on pretty tight to her lifelong dream.

Personally I find it very hard to listen to her. I think she flip flops worse than Kerry did, and I kind of liked Kerry to be honest.

Obama is showing to be resilient. I don't like his economic ideas and socialist leanings, but I am beginning to listen to him. He needs Clinton to drop out now so we can get on with the debates. I am open minded to what he has to say.

I dont think it will be after West Virginia. She is going to wait until the Democratic committee meet to decide on Michigan and florida delegates and their solution. that wont be until after may.

Lets say they some how put those two states in play, she is again than on the hunt to equalize with Obama.

That sounds right.
Whatever "rules" are that the DNC set up aren't going to matter much to a couple swing states that get booted out of the process.

Plus, and this is a long shot, there could be another scandal around the corner.

Seems like if there was, it'd be out by now, but unless she has it, (or Drudge or somebody) I would bet that it's going to be kept quiet until she does quit.

It's definitely in the planning stages. One of her top guys said publicly that he'll be talking to her about the fact that there's no real "path to victory" at this point.

I think it'll be pretty soon.
