In the AOL poll, a very wide majority think Bush intentionally misled the country. Last night, Jon Stewart was stunned at what small news was made of the Senate Intelligence findings and rebuke. Really much, MUCH bigger news than lying about getting a hooter. "Liberal media" was exposed as bullshit a long time ago. Why do you think they've gone so easy on Bush? The public despises him, so that's not it. |

I don't think McLellan is looked upon with any respect by most people. As far as impeaching Bush? Kucinich is just trying to grab some headlines. He will be out of office in 7 months anyway, and impeachment hearing would probably take longer then that.

They roasted Bush just fine over Iraq, Katrina, etc. But no one wants to watch Bush getting roasted anymore. I disagree with you on this. McCain publicly opposed Bush on campaign finance reform, fiscal policy, environmental policy, the handling of the war, etc. I dont see those as cuffs. And the greatest blunders of the Bush presidency were ethical, not policy. He lied, he cheated, he backstabbed, he cronied, etc. McCain isnt that guy. McCain isnt just called a Maverick because he looks like Mel Gibson. He has a track record. |

But his track record on voting is very conservative... and mostly in support of Bush policies. At least Obama is touting a 95 percent support of Bush.
Obama is mostly tying him to Bush on economic policy and Iraq. Says he essentially is extending Bush programs. |

I know this is a pipe dream for me, it would be nice to see some JUSTICE done. I dont care about impeachment, I do think that Bush and his group should be held on criminal charges of intentionally breaching the american Trust/ basically fraud.
It would be nice to set an example of jailing a president so future ones are much more careful. Leaders should be held to a HIGHER standard and punished even more severely because of the responsibility they hold. |

George Bush [to you lefties] is a moron; a fool. A lying bastard who wanted to go into Iraq for, oh who knows why. He didn't fool Dennis Kucinich but he did fool most of the real Democrats who were coincidentally running for office. I'm sure you heard the tough talk. One in particular was John Kerry. So I'm just asking was Kerry in on whatever the real nefarious reasons were to rid the world of Saddam or was he lazy or stupid enough to be fooled by Bush while the non military guys like Kucinich and Dean were not? I say there was an inside job. We all wanted Saddam out right through the Clinton and Gore administrations. If you think Bush is a fool and a lying bastard only to "lefties," you're running a good three years behind the times. 82 percent of the country says we're moving in the wrong direction and Bush is the most disapproved of president in history. Well I did ask a fairly reasonable question that you apparently don't want to answer. But yes, Bush's approval rating is low. I wouldn't think all who feel that way do so for the same rason as you. Nor does it explain why you supported a guy who lied just as much, if there was lying done. WSS |

First STeve I may lean a bit left when it comes to healthcare but I am not a "lefty".
Second you should see the video of Dick Cheney serving underneath BUSH SR. talking about why we should never invade Iraq and the Quagmire intra sectarion nightmare we would be in and even stregthening Iran. Hmmmm sound familiar?? Third The president is part of the EXECUTIVE BRANCH NOT THE LEGISLATIVE BRANCH. The executive branch when it comes to MILITARY ACTIONS CAN ACT UNILATERALLY AND SELLS ITS CASE TO CONGRESS AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND. I am a military man thru and thru and so is my entire family, I believe in the right to use necessary force in NECESSARY situations. Bush Jr. the active duty dodging,failed businessman clearly was influenced PRIOR to getting into office by the STUPID neocon Christians who got him elected.
