Kucinich is pushing for it. Not really expected to go anywhere, but you have to wonder why, based on Clinton's much tinier offense.
In the AOL poll, a very wide majority think Bush intentionally misled the country. Last night, Jon Stewart was stunned at what small news was made of the Senate Intelligence findings and rebuke. Really much, MUCH bigger news than lying about getting a hooter. "Liberal media" was exposed as bullshit a long time ago. Why do you think they've gone so easy on Bush? The public despises him, so that's not it. |

Also, McLellan is going to address a judiciary committee about Cheney's role in Plame.

I don't think McLellan is looked upon with any respect by most people. As far as impeaching Bush? Kucinich is just trying to grab some headlines. He will be out of office in 7 months anyway, and impeachment hearing would probably take longer then that.

Because the country turned the page on Bush 20 months ago. The last thing the Dems need now to instigate a partisan war. They are here to "heal the planet". Because the country turned the page on Bush 20 months ago. The only thing that made this news is that it was printed on official paper. No one really saw it as new information. Not even Stewart. They roasted Bush just fine over Iraq, Katrina, etc. But no one wants to watch Bush getting roasted anymore. It isnt entertaining; not even America likes to watch a dead horse get beaten for too long. |

I'll but that, Toop. Well put.
I think we're getting just enough reminders with the election approaching, though. And the other shoe is making sure McCain doesn't go Houdini and get out of the cuffs attaching him to Bush. |

I disagree with you on this. McCain publicly opposed Bush on campaign finance reform, fiscal policy, environmental policy, the handling of the war, etc. I dont see those as cuffs. And the greatest blunders of the Bush presidency were ethical, not policy. He lied, he cheated, he backstabbed, he cronied, etc. McCain isnt that guy. McCain isnt just called a Maverick because he looks like Mel Gibson. He has a track record. |

But his track record on voting is very conservative... and mostly in support of Bush policies. At least Obama is touting a 95 percent support of Bush.
Obama is mostly tying him to Bush on economic policy and Iraq. Says he essentially is extending Bush programs. |

I know this is a pipe dream for me, it would be nice to see some JUSTICE done. I dont care about impeachment, I do think that Bush and his group should be held on criminal charges of intentionally breaching the american Trust/ basically fraud.
It would be nice to set an example of jailing a president so future ones are much more careful. Leaders should be held to a HIGHER standard and punished even more severely because of the responsibility they hold. |

George Bush [to you lefties] is a moron; a fool. A lying bastard who wanted to go into Iraq for, oh who knows why. He didn't fool Dennis Kucinich but he did fool most of the real Democrats who were coincidentally running for office. I'm sure you heard the tough talk. One in particular was John Kerry. So I'm just asking was Kerry in on whatever the real nefarious reasons were to rid the world of Saddam or was he lazy or stupid enough to be fooled by Bush while the non military guys like Kucinich and Dean were not? I say there was an inside job. We all wanted Saddam out right through the Clinton and Gore administrations. Pretending Bush fooled the highest members of the party sworn to oppose him isn't believable to me. WSS |

If you think Bush is a fool and a lying bastard only to "lefties," you're running a good three years behind the times. 82 percent of the country says we're moving in the wrong direction and Bush is the most disapproved of president in history. Maybe you meant, "George Bush, to you 'sentient humans,' is a moron (etc.)..." I'll give you credit: You don't mind pissing into the wind if that's the direction you were told to face. |

Well I did ask a fairly reasonable question that you apparently don't want to answer. But yes, Bush's approval rating is low. I wouldn't think all who feel that way do so for the same rason as you. Nor does it explain why you supported a guy who lied just as much, if there was lying done. WSS |

First STeve I may lean a bit left when it comes to healthcare but I am not a "lefty".
Second you should see the video of Dick Cheney serving underneath BUSH SR. talking about why we should never invade Iraq and the Quagmire intra sectarion nightmare we would be in and even stregthening Iran. Hmmmm sound familiar?? Third The president is part of the EXECUTIVE BRANCH NOT THE LEGISLATIVE BRANCH. The executive branch when it comes to MILITARY ACTIONS CAN ACT UNILATERALLY AND SELLS ITS CASE TO CONGRESS AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND. I am a military man thru and thru and so is my entire family, I believe in the right to use necessary force in NECESSARY situations. Bush Jr. the active duty dodging, failed businessman clearly was influenced PRIOR to getting into office by the STUPID neocon Christians who got him elected. They used 9-11 to sell a normally stupid general public now frightened by the "terrorist boogeyman" into invading Iraq. They LIED and committed treason to keep a lid on any dissenting view on their marketing of invading Iraq. That is now proven in court and by their own former spokesman along with secretary of state releases and even their own people. Steve that C student lackey and his cronies appointed lawyers who got their degrees from PAT ROBERTSON college into important government positions and even tried to force harriet I am not qualified to file divorce papers Miers into the Supreme court. Get over your defense of that idiot, The case is over now, your party lost control of congress and now is going to lose the white house. Mostly thanks to the bumbling idiot and his cronies in the White house along with his Gay senators, corrupt senators, lobbyist controlled senators who got caught taking gifts and vacations... etc. |

Ah baloney. Lackey? You gotta be kidding. You two are STILL po'd that cardboard baloney head and phoney purple heart getter didn't get elected?
You are still angry that at half the US voted for Bush? That Kerry was a joke of a nominee? You move.orgy guys are hilarious. The neocon Christians? The normally stupid general public? Hint: Hate (about losing elections) makes you ugly. |

Cal, we'll take that as your strange way of admitting you messed up and not only voted for the worst president in U.S. history... you campaigned for him. That blood's on your hands, my friend.
And you did it because you're a brainwashed 'tard who chokes down whatever laughable bullshit they tell you to eat. Fine... but why go around bragging about it? Why get on a board like this and proudly say, "I'm a bitch for oil! I'm a bitch for oil!" Steve, shit, man. Maybe once you had too much self respect to keep grabbing your ankles for a tool like Bush, but you seem just fine with it now. Again, that's your damage... but why come on here and trumpet it? I don't get it. |

They did lose congress. How's that working out for you? Where's the big reward? Oh, yes, stifled for some financial perks in the defense funding bill. Thank your party for the altruism. And if your guy wins the white house it will be because of empty promises. BTW the "C" student had the same grades at Yale as Kerry. But you might want to answer the original question. We know ya hate Bush. WSS |

Uh, again: HUMANS hate Bush. Not just Americans, either. Polar bears are anti Bush as well. Based on his environmental record, let's assume all animals hate him. Not sure where his support is these days. But you keep acting like it's only "lefties," which is sort of laughable at this point. He's a freaking pariah. |

re: impeachment -
What is the point? 5 months left? Sillier than Clinton's abortion of an "impeachment" and I hate Clinton. Hey Congress, do your fcuking jobs. The country has been waiting for 18 months. |
