And have you or Dan admitted it was a lie? Or is your position the same (well we still think he did it even if this one document was fake) as Rathers? WSS |

C'mon Heck. Obama smeared Hillarys spouse. Called him a klansman. Right? Michelle should just shut up if she doesn't want her comments talked about. Now if there isn't a tape she's off the hook. But she did regularly attend a church in which that shit was commonplace. So the "I'm shocked" routine sounds a little fake. WSS |

Michelle Obumbla is a freakin racist. Extremely arrogant and manipulative, with many years of her church teaching her a black hate culture political "religion".
The bark is coming off the Obumbla ugly tree. And what you see MOST Americans DO NOT want to get. With each presidential loss, the formerly Democratic party leaders (leftist America haters) get angrier and ever more reactionary, hence the nomination of a kid with no legit pres qualifying experience. See my new post about Obumbla's 143 days in the Senate. He is a joke of a nominee, even worse than Kerry. Odd, they both had intimidating, hateful, nasty wives who also were not qualified to be American First Ladies. |

Obama called Bill Clinton a klansman?
Would you like to produce the quote backing that up, or are we going to continue with the dishonest smears? As for Michelle Obama, there's no problem commenting on what she's said publicly. I'm just wondering why anything she's said makes her a racist bitch ho. Maybe you could explain what makes her so detestable. Seems like a bright, accomplished woman to me. |

I hate to keep saying this: Have you seen Michelle Obama? She's a poised Ivy Leaguer who has lived most of her life with white people. She's not Black Panther. What's not to like?
She's cool. Yeah, I guess the "klansman" quote wasn't incendiary enough to make the news. Ha. Steve, you're missing the point again: The Right owns the smear campaigns. It's part of the machine. It's what they do. There is no tit-for-tat. |

I think we finally got to Cal's deep hatred of women: Smart, independent women intimidate him. Holy crap, man... we're talking about Michelle Obama. Why do you need to spin all these women into monsters? Does it make you feel better to demonize what scares you? She's an educated, intelligent, poised woman, a wife and mother. Stop being so disrespectful and gross, Cal. It's beneath even you. I think. I hope. |

Maybe there's another explanation on how you get from:
"For the first time in my adult lifetime, I am really proud of my country. And not just because Barack has done well, but because I think people are hungry for change." To: Michelle Obama is a racist, or a bitch, or a ho, or someone who hates America. What would that evidence be? Anyone? |

Hall of Famer |
It doesn't make her a racist, or an America-hater, but it is impolitic. As phrased, even with the second part of the quote, it still comes across as, "You voted for my husband? Finally I can be proud of you." I don't think that's what she meant, but it could have been phrased better. The interpretation is in the ear of the listener. It's kind of like McCain's "not that important" comment last week. Plenty of people pounced on that as evidence that he didn't care about troops, wanted the war to go on indefinitely, etc. My hunch--which is supported by what he said about casualities a second later--was that any timing of troop removal is less important than pacifying the insurgency, and that's the important thing, rather than getting troops home as quickly as possible. Nevertheless, the moral indignation--how could he not care about the troops?!--was palpable while watching Olbermann that night. If we want politicians to be unscripted and go off-message once in a while--and if we want spouses to be a part of the process at all--then we have to accept that sometimes they're going to say things not-so-perfectly, and that people will interpret them largely according to their political preferences. I completely agree, Dennis.
So I guess I'm still waiting for someone to explain the whole "racist, America-hating bitch" part. Anyone? |

I would explain, but I'm still waiting for you to accept my bushel of tomatoes bet on the pres election. Heck? What about it?

I think Cal's trying to wiggle out of the donation program.
No, Cal, betting tomatoes isn't an alternative. It's just silly. |

Yes. As you know when Bill pointedf out that Jackson won N Carolina obama or a surrogate said it was right out of the klan playbook. But it's cool. He's a lib. WSS |

It wasn't Obama. Would've been a big deal. Isn't.

I think it's pretty much the same size deal whether it was him or a surrogate. He or his team have played that card all through the primary and it's succeeded. In a Machiavellian sense it's been the smart play. But try not to kid yourself that there isn't a double standard. WSS |
