32 percent of voters are concerned about Obama's connection to Rev. Wright.
43 percent of voters are concerned about McCain's connection to W.
Either Gallup or CNN. Can't remember which.
McCain is much easier to tie to Bush, and that relationship is actually significant. There's evidence (and statements) that connect McCain to Bush through policy, no matter how hard and how suddenly he tries to disconnect.
Obama has done nothing that indicates he's a "follower" of Wright's radical thinking and racism.
Expect to hear a lot about both, though. I'm sure we'll see that picture of McCain hugging Bush and the birthday celebration later on the day Katrina hit... and hear McCain lauding Bush's economic and Middle East policies.
You'll hear the words "More of the Same" until your ears bleed.
Personally think the people of the USA do not want anything to do with Bush/Clinton....ties will kill mccain....a fresh start is the agenda and rightly so!
Ha. I don't remember defending him as a perfectly reasonable guy. That he is not. I was asking if anyone could produce something he said that was racist.
Uh, not really. Doing insulting racial stereotypes about European marching bands and white people who can't clap and Kennedy talking like what sounded kind of Asian isn't racist?
