Hillary is certainly not the first candidate to bash the oil producing states or oil companies around election time. And the polls seem to show it's working for her. But I'm concerned about the widening gap between reality and her campaign trail statements. First with the pledge to obliterate Iran if they attack Israel, then the rebellion against economists and now this.

I support Hillary for some of the reasons you stated above. I alos agree with your premise on Obama. McCain is senile and over the hill and will keep us at war cause he knows nothing else. But I would like specifics and data about where the Clintons failed on military intelligence? Were you in the intelligence community oin the nineties when NOT A single GI died in hostile combat. Sport some hard facts to back your bs assertion. Of course the current admin is a miserable failure in all things including military intelligence and Iraq is proof of that!.

What in God's name are you talking about? In my original post, I slammed everyone who whines about elites (liberal and conservative), using a dumb proposal (which is supported by both Clinton and McCain) as a way in. Pointing out the stupidity of a proposal isn't a partisan attack; if anything, I admire Clinton and McCain for their ability to get people to ignore the stupidity of the proposal.

Besides, at least Clinton came out swinging when people pointed out how dumb her proposal was. McCain's "Come on, it might only be $25, but let the poor people have something...c'mon." act was an embarassment both to himself and the people who watched the interview.
