Plenty of other reasons, this is just the latest example of why I'll vote for anyone other than Hillary. Yeah, another 8 years of these sleazeballs in Washington? For the good of the country, I hope not.

Only #23? Wow.

Oh, boy. And I'm sure all you Republican were equally up in arms when Rove played the race card, and Lee Atwater, or the dozens of other Republican Senate and House campaigns who have made some version of the "Southern strategy" their own in the last generation or so.
Please. I'm pretty livid at the Clintons over this shit as well. But the idea that the race card is over the line for Republicans is just too rich to stomach. It's almost as funny as listening to the people who tabbed John Kerry as unfit to rule because he was "a flip-flopper" now touting the benefits of Mitt Romney. |

LMAO... you make some pretty valid points heck. For what it's worth, my response wasn't based on the specifics of hoorta's "reason #23"... it was just more based on a disdain for the Clintons and Clintonians in general (and somewhat in jest.) |

You wonder how much more Bubba is going to talk. But I'm sure they think they made their point already and that he doesn't need to.
I hate this stuff when Republicans do it. I think I hate it worse when Democrats do it, especially former presidents. At least I expect Republicans to run ads with a half-naked white woman asking a black candidate to call her a week before the election. Or start an email campaign about Obama's supposed Muslim beliefs. Or starting a whisper campaign in the South about a white candidate's black love child. (I could go on.) And I'm hardly alone. I'm hearing this "What the f*ck is Clinton doing?" talk from everyone. And I think there are going to be a lot of people who are going to have a hard time rewarding this type of behavior. Sadly, I doubt that there are going to be enough of them. |

Thought for the day:
"If I had made that comparison to Jesse Jackson, I have a feeling that I'd be talking to Al Sharpton again." That's Don Imus this morning. And he's right. |

The clinton's have soft-shoe'd themselves out of harm's way once again, by having one of Obama's fundraisers arrested.

Oh, I didn't realize that Harding (or maybe Buchanan or Pierce) were still alive. |

When you can point out the single accomplishment of the destructive Administration of George Bush I will be ready to list twenty failures go for it

That's an easy one. Reviving the economy from the recession we were going into before he took office. And anyone with as little a life as you seem to have could come up with twenty failures of any administration, so go ahead and spew forth your opinion. |

So did our shitty economy swear in before or after Dubya? |

AFC North Player of the Month![]() |
OK "bub".... Nominal GDP in 2000 was 9.8 trillion...in 2006 it was 13.2 trillion. (34% increase) Nominal GDP per capita in 2000 was $34785...in 2006 it was $44071. (26.7% increase) But I guess that isn't a real metric. To be honest, I'm too lazy to go dig up more stats for an argument with an idiot on a football board, but even if (and I'm sure you'll be able to if you waste enough time on it) you dig up some economic metric that "supports" your contention, I would venture to say that that statistic wouldn't reflect an economy that has "sucked by any real metric" (as you put it.) |

GDP is a figment number........only real numbers are real wealth increases of American citizens.....negative for Bush's term
Trade deficit or surplus........massive deficit Market gain or loss...............negative for seven years Budget increase or deficit......massive deficit printing money so fast machines are worn out daily Add em up and your numbers are completely bogus and fabricated with bogus data cause you cannot be losing jobs, money and trade and growing spin it any way you can........talk about those real numbers not bogus GDP manure |

Yet there wasn't a single fukkin number offered up in your emotional rant of a post in which you tell me to "talk about those real numbers." Who's the one spinning here? I never said that it's been the best economy in the history of the world. You're the one who brought in the absolutes with describing the economy as having "sucked by any real metric for seven years." Back it up. And I don't mean show that the economy hasn't been the best in history. Defend your statement that it has "sucked by any real metric for seven years" with facts. Oh, and I wish you the best of luck in doing that. |

Rich, there was not a word about Bush (or the Republicans) in my original post. So to my liberal friends out there, let me ask you this- so the Republicans were doing it too, so I guess that makes it OK? I don't condone any party playing the Race Card. FWIW, I'll agree that Bush has been a lousy president, and he betrayed the fiscal conservatism that got Regan and the current line of Republicans elected. That doesn't excuse Bill Clinton for being the biggest sleazeball president on record. Up to his same old tricks, and it surprizes me not one bit. Hill and Bill are power whores IMHO, plain and simple. |
