No offense against you personally Hoorta,
However you view the politics, lets talk about family.
You had a brother die in WWII,and in less than six years your two other brothers are murdered on national television!

Many people have a hard time in there life overcoming a single personal tragedy let alone all he carried with him.

Without looking up the exact dates I believe that the "Mary Jo incident" happened less than six months after Bobby's death,im not trying to excuse him in anyway for his actions that night but I do get tired of people after all this time throwing stones at him over a horrible accident at a very horrible time in his or any human beings life.

Whatever "truly" happened that night right or wrong he has paid the price many times over and in most cases nobody knows his politics other than,1. He's a Kennedy,2. He's a democrat, and 3. The Mary Jo incident.

He's now dying and he can rot in hell or whatever most conservatives want him to do but before you condemn someone think about where they have been before you hurl the rock.

Danamal...

as much as I despise him politically I gotta say this about him,

when it came down to dragging this nation through another drawn out court process over the elections, it was Teddy K. that stepped to the plate. Rumor has it that he put in a call to Kerry and told him to back down, the nation didn't need it.

Seems he remembered a guy named Nixon doing the same thing with his brother over a few votes in Chicago... and a nice little Mayor up there if I remember right... and returned the favor.

That is how politics are SUPPOSED to be done. Fight your heart out... but NOT divide the country.

What has happened to politics when people in this country cannot say a good thing about the person in another party?

Or should I ask, what has happened to intellectual honesty?

Just as much a shame as people focusing on Bush's DD arrest years before he ran for office.

Both sides do it... either it is condemned by both sides, or condoned.

Which one do you want?

Bush has done his damndest to destroy our nation for seven years running......and is directly responsible for 4000 dead Americans and 150,000 dead Iraqi's and ten trillion in new debt......Teddy did his best to make it best for forty five years.....and is responsible for driving off a bridge with Mary Jo

you decide who did what

That's what I thought.

You want respect for your party... and won't give any for the other.

Then you wonder why half the nation hates the other half politically.

1) I don't want anyone to rot in hell because of their political beliefs.

2) What happened on the bridge is between Ted and God.

3) Because it's public, does it make the pain any worse? I'm sure I could dig up a few thousand real life "Saving Private Ryan" families if you'd like.

4) The guy is 77 years old. Old people die, sad to say. Now if Barak Obama got diagnosed with an incurable glioma, I'd get on the "tragedy" train.

See that fence?
A hunded miles long ans solid as a rock.
There are 2 or three in every county.
I built them all.
You'd think they'd call me Murphy the Fence Builder, no?
And see that stone house there?
Four stories high and a marvel of engineering.
The mayors of Dublin Cork Waterford and Killarney live in houses just as fine and I built them all!
They might properly call me Murphy the stonemason, right?

But you f*ck ONE sheep.......

I thought a ton of JFK, and I remember girls in class and out teacher, 5th grade?, crying when it was announced that he was assassinated.

I idolized Bobby Kennedy. I think that was a huge 2nd hit on our country.

After that? No dems impressed me.

But Ted Kennedy? He has always been, IMHO, a disgrace to the memory of John and Bobby.

It's tragic that he has cancer. But his politics have alienated folks from both sides of the aisle and the country.

I simply differeniate between the two.

Had my scheduled talk with my neurologist pal. If the tumor is inoperable, Ted's got about a year or so. Even if it is operable, he's out of luck. They will probably try a combination of radiation and chemo to slow the the growth down. The area of the brain where the tumor is located controls sensation.

Get your facts straight. She did not run anybody over. It was a collision between two cars and she was at fault. No DUI, no leaving the scene, no getting off after committing a crime. But yeah, I can see how you think they are one and the same. Moron.

Ok lets do hypocrite. You make a big deal about an ACCIDENT that ocurred 30 years ago and ACCIDENT........but yet support the two Iraqi kids getting their head blown off the other day by US gunfire

In fact you support the deaths of 150,000 Iraqi civilians who were victims of pre meditated murder by our current President in a war based ON LIES..........

your value system is awesom!!!!!!!!!!
