Using "Lynching" was so fantastically unnecessary. I'm amazed that black people don't stand up and demand that these so-called leaders stop diminishing the meaning of words like that. Making the atrocities of those who actually experienced it be replaced by punchlines, talking points, soundbites, etc..

Jews don't exactly go tossing around the word "Holocaust" when they can't get a good bagel while travelling do they? The word still has a value. A significance.

Don't destroy that.

And perhaps you should read my posts on the Catholic Church scandal again. Or maybe you'd like to explain why decades of the widespread and facilitated sexual molestation of children doesn't call into question the nature of an organization.

But comparing my comments about the Catholic hierarchy's involvement in the sex abuse scandal to Hagee's comments about Catholicism wouldn't really make sense, would it? You know, since they're both about entirely different things.
