I think Obumba "lost his marbles" a long time ago.
(what goes around, comes around, eh, Hussein Obumba?) |

I heard that speech.
Since the fellas have been so good as to point out that John McCain is addled due to age I guess this must be residual damage from all the blow huh? WSS |

Cal... yes, THAT Cal... just called Obama a "goof."
That just happened. |

Did the liberals on this board just get done harrassing McCain saying he was too old to run for POTUS for something he said?

That's how liberals do. And the old Soviet Union. I wouldn't hazard a guess as to why the similar approach.
I think we all know there's 50 states. Obumba really said it ! ******************************************* Posted Wed May 07 2008 07:09 PM Hide Post He's unfocused and occasionally befuddled. It won't have to be brought up... he'll just seem more old than experienced opposite Obama, I think. Shep ******************************************** Perhaps it's Obumba who will appear haggard, unfocused, befuddled and more old, even uneducated - more than McCain? |

Perhaps Obumba smoked far more than he admitted to, and is now mentally damaged.
Too bad. He won't be the next pres. Bet on it. NEWS FLASH: A new Republican is going to "run" for president as a libertarian.... |

Oh, no. Cal made up another brilliant nickname.
And you guys wonder why Conservatives are seen as dim rednecks. |

Shep, You know I'm about as middle of the isle as they come. Although a registered republican, I voted for Kerry in the last election (not that I believed in him that much, more so bush was THAT bad)however if ANYBODY had told me they visited 57 states I would call them a goof. |

But you know Obama isn't a goof. You know this is a guy with a genius level IQ and upper level Ivy League degrees. A guy several OPPONENTS have called one of the smartest people they've ever met.
You can say it's funny, but you don't think it means he doesn't know how to spell USA or how many states there are. I'm betting you know instinctively that there was some exhausted reasoning behind the slip, like he'd flown into a different state 57 times. Or he meant 47, which should have been 48, most likely, but he was dog tired. Or he was thinking of steak sauce. Or something perfectly reasonable... and still funny. You, Inspecta, do NOT think it makes him a goof, let alone someone who isn't quite a bit smarter than the vast majority of humans on earth. You just think it was funny. Nothing more. Because there's nowhere else to really go with it. |

Double standard? This is what you had to say about McCain when: McCain referred to the "League of Nations." He had meant to say "League of Democracies," his proposal for a new organization of allies beyond the U.N.
Face it you're a hypocrit when it comes to fairness when comparing Liberal issues and people with conservative issues and people. You always have been and that is a sad thing for you. Open your mind a little more to the less radical on the right. Simply put you have one gift: condescendence. In abundance. |

Well, not for me. Perhaps for you? I don't know. Maybe I turn the world on with my smile? Maybe I take a nothing day, and suddenly make it all seem worthwhile? Maybe those are but two of my overabundance of gifts? Eh, let's go with that. Thanks. |

So you're not addressing the hypocrisy you expressed about Obama vs McCain's faux paus? Why is that?
Oh that's right, your strength is not intelligence, but condescendence. Thanks for making my point. People who dig a hole as deep as you typically drop the shovel. You obviously transferred out the class taught by Dr. Common Sense. |

You're a stitch, dude. I always love watching you dig a hole for yourself while telling others about the holes they dig.
Again... you are the least self-aware person I've never met. At least Toop can make his nonsense sound credible. You bore the shit out of me as you follow me around, you're still a useless stain on this board... and you're back on ignore. Buh-bye, dipshit. |

Shep, he had a decent question. Why do you point to McCain's mistake as a sign of being too old to be Prez but Obama's is meaningless? There are ceratinly good answers to the question, I'm just wondering which yours is.

God, Toop, your self-importance is getting so galling. You end every post these days with some version of, "I know all kinds of great answers, now let's see if you can say something that isn't patently retarded. Go."
Or, "I'm waiting." Or, "I'm just curious to see if you can..." There seems to be an assumption in there that you have interesting or exciting or engaging thoughts. So let's see if you can, for the first time, express one. Go. Just kidding. First, I like McCain. I think he's more scatterbrained on a more consistent basis than he was five years ago. He's become a bit of a hem-and-hawer when speaking. When he needs to put a button on something, it ends foggy. I don't think he's dumb... like, at all... but I think he's having more difficulty expressing himself. And a HUGE part of being a president is inspiring confidence and creating momentum. I think McCain would come up short. Obama isn't perfect, mind you. He's still learning to be sharp while exhausted, which he'll need to be. He seemed washed out to me in the Pennsylvania debate. He seemed REALLY tired when he made the 57 states gaffe. But I feel confident that he'll learn to play tired like players learn to play hurt. I don't think McCain is gonna get younger. |

Obama has baggage. Big baggage.
Shep, it is a legit point. You are dishonest about your political bigotry. And you play with words to keep from admitting it. Obama is just tired when he says he's been to 57 states? How many states will he think there are when he's exhausted being president and turning gray? (BTW, OhBUMba will turn grey. McCain won't) Lesser evil = McCain. Obumba is a goof. |
|||
|
|
calfoxwc Numbers Retired and hangs in the rafters |
Let's see. OBUMa thinks there are 59 states and John (smokie smokie) Edwards thinks there are two Americas.
If Edwards joins the ticket as VP, That's 118 states between the two of em. Should be entertaining to watch them lose. |
