I can't find it, but somewhere Cal was saying that I was ducking a bet with him about November. Which is odd, since I offered to bet anyone, and finally got DieHard to take me up on it.
So our bet was that the loser will donate $100 to Fisher House in Shep's name. Shep will be able to confirm the payment was made because he'll get a little thing in the mail that says DieHard just donated $100 in his name.
If you want a piece of that, Cal, I'll go $100 with you, too. And probably anyone else who wants a piece.
It's a great organization. I'd love for you guys to send them your money.

And I assume the same 100 in DieHards name if McCain wins? WSS

But if a Dem is president, you could sell your bushel of tomatoes for a hundred dollars.
You want to bet or not. Afraid of losing Heck? Afraid of winning?
A bushel of excellent tomatoes. You can just go to the local veggie market and buy em to send to me. Or, you could just send me an "IOU" and you could buy me just a bushel of nice tomatoes if I'm ever around in your area.
It isn't that hard, Heck. Do you want to bet or not?
There's this weird blend of surrender and madness swirling around the Republicans on this board.
They should be embracing tearing it down and rebuilding it. Young people are staying away in droves. Ron Paul may have it right -- it should be more Libertarian. I wouldn't get anywhere near it, but I think there'd be some buyers.
The crazy, hateful, smearing, oil drunk, religious fringe loving bastard child of Conservatism needs to be thrown out with the bath water. It's pretty much over.
